Return to Essential Living Practices
I will live today, as if gardening and collecting rain
are the most important things I can do with my time today--
because it is!--Leslie Goldman

December 16, 2014
My bottom lines now are that I am called to maintain a positive attitude of faith, drink water, move my body, eat foods that support my health improvement, and rest as needed. These are basic essential living practices, many of these practices I learned during my days studying the Wholistic Environmental Living Practices of the Essenes.
I will explain more deeply about the Essene Omnilateral vision as I write about the Essene Renaissance>
Here is one quote of Professor Szekely that has deep meaning for me now:
Our adaptation to the natural forces is a question
of existence or non-existence.
We cannot transform the universe or nature
so that they adapt themselves to us;
on the contrary, we msut adapt ourselves
to nature and her laws."
--Edmond Bordeaux Szekely inspired the idea of growing a beet
in a container, keeping the beet growing, and eating the beet greens that will keep growing, Through growing a beet we might regain our beat with Nature.
That is what I named, "Beet Keepers, Return!"
This is a sculpture from Rancho La Puerta of Professor Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. it was taken December 11, before the rains came. The story that inspired my own work, Plant Your Dream, was from "THe Legend of Zoroaster," The story begins with a reference to a Blue Bird. It was meaningful to me that when I settled down to write at the Ranch, a blue bird landed.
Plant Your Dream Practices are Essene Practices for Today
The majority of my Plant Your Dream practices are basic Essene Philosophy that if adapted to these times will contribute to a renaissance of essential living in harmony with nature. Esoterically this can be called the Essene Renaissance.
Gathering Rain and Working with the Natural Elements Intentionally
As I wrote this very minute, the sky is clouding over once again. We had tremendous rain yesterday and through the night.
In our drought area, gathering rain as a spiritual practice means a lot to me. I see where I could have done a better job of that during the night. I have rain collecting Buckets outside on the stairs near my room.
Ideas for Planting a Positive Future for Humanity have been very Alive in me Now
The inspiration of the professor Edmond Bordeaux Szekely and my recent trip to Rancho La Puerta that began near 75 years ago as the Essene School of Life there, inspire my thoughts now, Rancho La Puerta is now the #1 Destination Spa in the world.
While I was at The Ranch, as it is called, we had tremendous rain December 12, on the day I had a gathering in the Library Lounge. It is a powerful gathering.
There has been an invitation to write about the Essene Renaissance and professor Szekely. My close spiritual and health mentor Dr Bernard Jensen studied many schools of life. He found great kinship with the philosophy of life generated by the Essenes. Both these men were both deeply connected in the essential stream of consciousness that propelled their Essential Walk, or Essene Way, each organic step dedicated to come into balance with the Earth and Cosmic Forces.
My work, both personal and outgoing, is an expression of my Essene Walk. The word "Essene" in itself can bring up controversy. Few people define it as I do, and yet 30 years or more of training, my life and work as Your Enchanted Gardener is a continuation of the natural teachings that I learned from my mentors who traveled this Essene stream of Consciousness.
My whole life I have walked near crooked physically, and my body is a testament to modern surgical practices combined with natural practices.
Some of my walk and practices have given me the harvest that I have now. This harvest includes the need to remember my essential living practices.
Some of the most essential gifts I bring to life include loving at every opportunity, forgiving, and striving to remember the good, and finding good in everything that passes my way.
I seek to be an innocent person, innocent in the eyes of God as I I know God, and nature.
Drama on my plate now I will reveal in other related Plant Your Dream Blogs. What I am many of us do today are part of our personal heroes journey. The heroes journey is of course a generic term that apples to both women and men.
My purpose I feel strongly now is to help win Back Our Sacred Seeds. My work literally involves inspiring more people to become gardeners of heirloom seeds and ancient grains.
I recognize now that winning back my sacred seed is my daily activity. I'm hoping for more rain, and I am grateful for what has fallen and I have collected. There are still buckets I can fill. I'm going out now to fill them. I will return.
I often travel with pots where I plant Seed Dreams. There are two pots. The top one has holes for watering. The bottom pot I call a diaper. It has no holes. I frequently decorate the pots with bumper stickers collected on my journeys. On December 16, the day of our miracle rains at home, I set up the bottom containers along my back porch where the rain falls. This was a deeply spiritual exercise for me. When the rain falls, I want to gather it.

NUMBERS OF THE GRAPHICS IN THE GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA KIT I FROM THE WORK OF EDMOND BORDEAUX SZEKELY
this quote is from "The Legend of Zoroaster"
Some of the ideas in the Grow A Healthier Pizza Kit were also inspired by ideas from "The Legend of Zoroaster"
The booklet was first published in 1947. I was born that same year. It was also the year the Dead Sea Scrolls, documents of the ancient Essenes were rediscovered in Kumran.
Organic seeds of Kamut® Khorasan Ancient Grain have been called the Prophet's Wheat. Grow them. They will teach you many lessons. Plant Your Dream with these seeds. Harvest your intentions.
My dream is that you will help Grow A Healthier Pizza. In growing more of our food, we will inspire a grassroots movement that restores America the Beautiful into the hands of her eminent gardeners. Be that Gardener. Win Back Our Sacred Seeds.

TO DO TODAY AND THIS WEEK
Spend time yesterday, December 17, 2014, working on many projects. I allowed finding different photos to remind me of timelines.
I pulled together and completed photos for The Organic Report for the OTA and send them in via email one by one. This was a lot and kept me pinned to the computer more than I wanted.
Housemate ad--I added a few photos to the Facebook page on this. I need another housemate. I do not want to start this vital housemate search until I complete my funding requests for next year. I will flood my mind with too many things at once if I do.
Wheat sponsor--I made a lot of progress on this. I will complete this very soon, maybe this morning before going to see a digestive specialist in the Western mode.
Surgery postponement and check in--This has been a major decision to make. I have an invasive surgery on my right kidney confirmed now on the books for January 21. I can back out without causing stress to the surgeon about a week away. The secretary is going to line this up. This date is about a month away.
I did more exercise than usual yesterday, December 18, 2014. I had the mini trampoline set up in my room. I did stretching of my back and relaxing, a new move.
Digestive tomorrow's details--This morning, December 18, I will keep an appointment with a new doctor who specialized in gastro issues. This was set up by my primary care physician.
I have a unfinished followup with an important advisor, one of my mentors and friends, who I spent time with at Rancho La Puerta. He gave me various coaching on what to do to bring more energy to my kidneys. I would like to go this route--Naturally--if possible.
Squash soup--I set up my back porch kitchen better.
I moved the crock pot there. I should have cut up some squash and put it in. I did cut up some sweet potatoes in a pot. I also ate some aduki beans.
One of the remedies I need is Aduki beans raw. I am to boil them for ten minutes and drink the water.
There is a followup with a test of my stool with a group in NC. My advisor is convinced I have a parasite. I never heard back the results from the test I did.
Mail photo insurance--I mailed in these photos December 18, 2014.
work up early with more ideas to complete this Plant Your Dream Blog.
Then, around 7:50 am, I am typing this brief health report and check in. I need to remind myself of the Essene--essential living--attitude toward death.
There is a story that when the Roman's were coming to Kumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were to be buried, The Essenes took their time to complete the writing and store it away before leaving. They had an attitude toward life and death where they believed in eternal life and the life of the soul. They had great courage.
I have been feeling some of that courage lately. There is really too many things on my plate. I need to outgrow my thinking that has harmed my kidneys. I was reminded of a similar philosophy among the artists of Mexico. In the dining room of Rancho La Puerta, there was an elaborate art piece that showed a snake representation. One half was images of death, and the other side of the snake images of rebirth, or life, Spring-like images. The view of the Devil, as portrayed by the West, was a later conception.
Time to complete this…see if I can complete my wheat sponsor proposal..and get read to go to the digestive gastro person.
