I am seeking a new Art Creation….is is a image of Auntie GMO…She is the a composite of our Grassroots movement growing….she represents the alignment of the Marcher and the Gardener coming together as one and as one inside ourselves.
Uncle Sam is currently in the farm bed with Biotech Agriculture. He needs to be returned to the inherent values as expressed by our founding gardener presidents who had a close relationship with nature.

The Resistance to the ongoing assault on the quality of our food supply is expressed through the Label GMO movement. Food Reform is coming through our voices and actions being raised in the political arena, yet the Soul of our Grassroots Movement will grow with a gardening tool in hand. Gaining intimacy with the growth of ancient grains and other heirloom seeds as more and more of us breathe life into Auntie GMO "Anti" GMO through entering the original gardener mentality.
As much as Uncle Sam is a representation of the U.S., I see Auntie GMO as a representation of the spirit of the "Anti" GMO movement.
I like this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, "

WHERE FROM HERE?
People are becoming more and more engaged in the fight against GMOs. We are marching. We are creating consumer demand for labeling. There is a growing awareness that biotechnology in the farm field is a lost cause for many reasons. The Non-GMO Project verification process and consumer demand are creating a tipping point where more and more companies are producing products without GMOs, but there is still something deeper that is being asked by nature.

Among the hundreds of editorial comments perhaps the most interesting are those made also by the Rocky Mountain News, Under the caption "The Borgias of Business."
"If the people exhibited the same persistence in looking after their interests that Illegitimate Business displays in looking after its interests, the things of which we complain would soon be brought to an end, and prosperity, like a tidal wave, would flood the land."--The Rocky Mountain News, March 21, 1912
"For 20 years, at least, the food poisoners of the country have waged warfare on Dr. Harvey W. Wiley and since the passage of the Pure Food Act in 1906 they have trebled efforts to have him discharged. These Borgias of business have won, for the circumstances attended Dr Wiley's recent resignation make it, in practical effect, a dismissal.
"Dr Wiley resigned because the fundamental principles of the Pure Food Law have been strangled; because he has been powerful to punish the manufacturers of misbranded and adulterated drugs and foods; and because the powers of his position had been nullified by executive orders.
"Dr. Wiley was only head of the Bureau of Chemistry, but there is every reason to believe that President Taft will find that Dr Wiley gave the position
an importance out of all proportion to its standing."

A PROCLAMATION OF INTENT
"A History of a Crime Against the Pure Food Law," began in 1906 when Special interests in Industry interfered with the enforcement of this Congressional Mandate that would have prevented Obesity, Diabetes, and Allergy Epidemics we have today. The law defended the health of our Children but was cast aside for the Moneybag.
