My acne experience and how i healed

Date: 5/13/2014 5:31:56 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 10091 times So i healed my acne in 1 month out of 11 months of thinking i had the perfect diet .I had very bad acne ,I'm talking 50 pimples on my face with red marks ,whiteheads and blackheads. I also had chest and back acne at the same time .it was a nightmare. Imagine waking up like that ,i was always so furious ,stressed and lonely.
Let me just make this short for you
Here's what your going to do if you want to get rid of your acne
(Remember that we all have different body types ,however my acne got much better with these steps)*****its going to be a little difficult to follow these steps but if you want results you have to put the effort*****
1. Cut out all processed ,refined foods /dairy (chocolate ,milk ,cheese ,granola bars ,pizza ,cookies ,chips ,cereals ,white bread ,bagels ,pastries and rice)
2. cut down on the fruit too .I was fooled by fruits ,in the first 10 months of my plan to change my lifestyle and diet i ate fruits uncontrollably thinking that it was part of my cure to acne ,regardless i didn't know that fruit sugar was aggravating my acne.Cutting down on fruit made my skin better.
3. Start doing Yoga ,go on youtube and search "yoga for glowing skin" ,there are two videos with one woman and another with two women ,perform these moves everyday for 5-10 minutes ,it WILL work wonders .TRUST ME
4. Go on the 21-day sugar detox ,if only someone told me about this 11 months ago..... Basically cutting down sugar in the first week of this diet ,i noticed my acne get so much better ,the first days are very difficult though ,google this diet to know more about it ,it worked wonders for me to be honest.
5. Exercise. Go to the gym. Break a sweat. You'll feel better about yourself. Exercise has really improved my skin complexion. It also makes you happier. So take the stairs instead of the elevator and go biking instead of driving.
6. Start drinking herbal teas ,skin detoxes ,relaxation tea ,green tea ,they all have a good effect on clearing your acne ,make sure you buy them from a health food store though.
7. Get herby. Whether adding them to your salads ,eggs or on your tea ,herbs are now a staple in my diet ,not only do they add flavor but they have countless health benefits which include cleansing your insides and purifying your blood ,which is so important for people who suffer from acne
These are some herbs that are very effective in clearing acne : Turmeric, ginger ,cumin ,moringa ,cinnamon ,fresh parsley and fresh cilantro.
8. Water .drink at least 10 cups of water a day ,it cleans your insides ,eases digestion ,hydrates your body and gives you a healthy complexion
9. Don't go NUTS ,after 11 months i now literally binge on all kinds of nuts ,if i ate a handful of cashews 11 months ago i would've broken out like crazy ,so as an acne sufferer i would advise you to wait until you clear up your acne and then experiment with different foods and see how your skin will react ,however don't be afraid to eat nuts every now and then .We all have different body types.
10. DO NOT USE ANY ACNE CREAMS ,SOAPS ,WASHES OR CLEANSERS. In the early stages of my acne forming i would freak out when a new pimple appears ,and just grab every cream and put it on my face thinking that it was the cure. Now i regret that because it has caused my skin to be so sensitive. I wash my face 5 times a day with cold water .i no longer put anything on my face but water. And shaving cream :p
11. Start juicing your veggies ; celery ,watercress ,parsley ,cilantro ,onions ,beets ,carrots etc.... Juicing is a great way to get all the nutrients you need from your veggies.
12. Stop stressing. Everything happens for a reason ,don't blame yourself for having acne ,because its already there ,you only have the choice to get rid of it. Read more ,meditate ,do some dancing (youtube videos) ,try to stay away from stress.
13. Download an application called 'Diet master' ,this really helped me keep my sugar and calorie levels on the low ,you enter all the food you eat ,and at the end of the day you see all the minerals ,vitamins and sugar in your food.
14. Be thankful .some people have it worse ,acne is a very humbling experience ,you'll get to appreciate a lot of things you didn't
***however in the last month or so ,i have binged on white bread ,pizza and breadsticks ,which made my face a little red with some marks**** avoid binging on any foods high in carbohydrates ,because they might aggravate your acne.
15. Include these foods whether cooked ,steamed or raw in your diet:
Spinach
Broccoli
Salmon
Cucumbers
Lettuce
Red cabbage
Sweet red peppers
Sweet yellow peppers
Green yellow peppers
Walnuts (remember what i said about nuts though)
Onions
Spring onions
Garlic (superfood tbh)
Sunflower seeds (a little gamble but try and see)
Avocado
Carrots
Beets
Celery
Watercress
Swiss chard
Sweet potato (baked for 40min or steamed)
Here's a juicing recipe that is really cleansing and healthy:
1 bunch fresh parsley
1 bunch fresh cilantro
1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon ginger root
1 medium celery stalk
1/4 onion
Put into a juicer and don't expect the best taste ,but remember you're doing sacrifices to get rid of something you didn't want in the first place so be prepared to do things you don't favor.
