PURIST UPDATE
RECENT NOTES FROM ROBERT
What Distinguishes Quinton and QuintEssential Seawater Products?
Why has the most advanced and experienced company in therapeutic seawater products only used glass packaging for over 115 years? What do they know that other latecomers have overlooked? The fact is, seawater harvested from plankton-rich blooms in the pure open Atlantic Ocean is the most complex living substance on the planet. It’s the modern Primordial Soup! Rene Quinton (1865-1925) taught us that if you harvest it, process it or package it incorrectly it changes and spoils just like any raw soup would. He proved that if you want all of its magical biochemical and bio-energetic properties 1) you can’t heat it 2) you can’t allow it to oxidize and 3) you can’t store it in anything but glass.
Laboratoires Quinton only produces seawater products perfectly and has done for more than a century in their state-of-the-art marine plasma facility in Alicante, Spain under the most strict quality control and production standards in the world.
Other producers of seawater products do not respect these laws of Nature and break the rules to reduce cost by heating their products or selling them is plastic bottles and containers. This compromises the quality and highest potential therapeutic value of this remarkable ocean nutraceutical.
The Disadvantages of Storing Pure Seawater Health Products in Plastic
Why has the most advanced and experienced company in therapeutic seawater products only used glass packaging for over 115 years? What do they know that other latecomers have overlooked? The fact is, seawater harvested from plankton-rich blooms in the pure open Atlantic Ocean is the most complex living substance on the planet. The following is expert commentary on the disadvantages of using plastic packaging and containers to store sensitive fluids.
Oxidation breaks down the ends of polymer molecules, almost immediately upon blow molding or extrusion process of any type of plastic container, bottle, or receptacle.
These molecules are long and chain-like... The immediate effect of degradation by oxidation alone is seen almost immediately at the ends of these molecule chains. When combined with UV, the environment (ambient temperature) and water based formulary (H2O) the degradation process is increased internally and externally.
These oxidized molecules begin reacting and break down into "Hydroperoxides", "Alcohols", "Ketones", "Carboxylic Acids" and "Esters". A chemical degradation process must always be well underway before any bio-degradation can take place. Interior degradation due to chemical interaction (leaching) within a bottle or container (interior) and UV, sunlight and the environment (outside) when mixed with airborne bacteria can and will trigger the oxidation process.
