It is August 5, 2013, 35 days until the National Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, CA. I just looked at the Speaker Bios. My old Bio from last year is still up. The new one has not been put online.
Last year's intro reads:
Leslie Goldman, "Your Enchanted Gardener" is a food activist, ceremonialist, and blogger known for his inspired poetry, photography, and ability to ground intentions with heirloom seeds. Leslie will lead an opening ceremony, participate in a closing ceremony, and have two "Plant a Healthier Pizza" sessions: one for adults, and one for kids.
I had a difficult time getting out of bed this morning. It is 8:16 am now. There are many things coming to an end in my life now. It is an energetic pattern that I feel happening.
I have been feeling stuck for a long time, especially in my room. The stagnation in here is enough to cause a health storm. It would take a health storm to move the energy and slow me down enough to take action.
Yesterday, I had a breakthrough. I finished shredding three years of old notebooks, two of them with old bank statements from 2000 and 2008.
There is another unruly box on the floor that has been disturbing me for months. I started to go through it. Then I went to the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine PCOM, to keep an appointment with my intern, Kyle.
I am in continuing health drama that I am calling a health storm.
Monday July 26, 2013 I had a molar extracted on the lower right side. Two dentists felt they could not remove it because my jaw has a limited range of motion. I went to an Oral Surgeon, German Trujillo, DDS, recommended by my long time denstist Pablo Liciaga.
The extraction was over in about one minute. Then there were stitches. I do not understand antibiotics. I took the ones that were prescribed by Laura for the day before surgery, and then three days after. There was no swelling after the extraction. I was able to handle the pain with AminoActiv, my natural pain reliever of choice, other than for the first day. I used Ibuprofen.
Here is the new crisis I may have created: When you take antibiotics, it is important to take all the antibiotics in the bottle. I did not take the last three days. I was feeling better by the third day. I was starting to get ringing in my ear.
I am repulsed by antibiotics, and Western Medicine, although I appreciate more now than ever, after months of pain, that it exists and I had narcotics to take.
But what now?
I still have the ringing in the ear as a side effect of the antibiotics. I am not sure that the antibiotics had a chance to kill off the infection.
I called German yesterday, and gratefully, received a call back almost immediately. He will check me out this Thursday, and decide what to do next.
I am concerned that next would mean another round of antibiotics.
I am concerned another round of antibiotics would mean more stress in my ear.
I once took antibiotics for a day. I had ear stress, fluid in the ear, and ringing for almost a year. The antibiotics unsets the natural way my healthy bacteria grow. Candida takes over. The ringing in the ear has something to do with the disturbance.
MyCommunity, Host Defense, Mushrooms to the Rescue
I invested in a bottle of MyCommunity mushrooms from Paul Stamens, yesterday. I ran out. This supplement was important to me during the winter when I had flu-like symptoms for more than two months.
So what is the most important next thing to do to shift my energy?
Yesterday morning, I did Oil Pulling for the first time in many years. This is an Ayurvedic natural treatment that many say can help with infections.
I am going to do a second round of swishing Oil, this time with Dr. Bronner's cocoanut oil with some turmeric. I ran into Jutta, an ajurvedic practitioner at OB People's Food Coop. She said use the cocoanut oil and Turmeric.
I am starting to get hungry.
I am also feeling tired. It is 8:39 am
