Take llysine 500 mg two times a day when you start feeling that sensation of a cold sore on your lip. Llysine is an amino acid, do not take for over a week. works! have NOT had the showing of a cold sore for decades. Prior to using llysine I would get huge cold sores that would grow, be very painful and very nasty and would last for months!

Llysine may even give relief for shingles because the virus is similar.
