Today is January 5, 2013
I am spending the day organizing Chapters for "Grow A Healthier Pizza," the Book.
I was in the middle of watching the video I made with A.J. Kawamura, the former Sec of Ag for the State of California. I was at the place where there is a segway to Dr. Robert Fralley, PhD the Father of Biotech Ag. My computer froze. I was working on a Chapter of the Book, "Grow A Healthier Pizza" on a need for an Honest Dialogue, on Science, Ethics, and Food.
The computer froze and I had to reboot.
About an hour ago, I got up from a nap.
The internet and Wifi were no longer connected. This happens about once a week at least. I have left a chair in my room so I can stand up on it to pull the chords out and the Wifi to reboot the internet connection.
It happens so often on a regular basis that I no longer fret. I just go through the steps to reboot. This means shutting down my computer completely.
I have installed Norton Anti-Virus in the last three weeks, imaging this would improve the situation.
I want to get to the other side of this.
I am connected to the internet and my ability to organize my thoughts online by a Wifi Connection. The ethernet no longer works. The first time I realized this a few months back, I had an emotional meltdown.
I have not attempted to connect via an ethernet cable.
I would like to reflect on this in the book.
I have bought into, an an extreme way, my virtual reality.
in the book, "Grow A Healthier Pizza" I want to reflect on my reliance, and our reliance on Computer Technology vs. Nature's Original Technology.
We have lost our beat with nature.
We are connected to reality by a different rhythm that is electronic.
I am not sure we know what we are dealing with here.

Leslie, that"s me, drawing water from the pond at Luther Burbank's Home and Garden, a day before the beginning of the 2nd Annual Natiional Heirloom Expo, September 10, 2012. Luther Burbank, was the esteemed Gardener who planted many of our biodiverse foods we eat today. He is my hero gardener. I may never equal his qift with the evolution of plants, but I would like to be as effective inspiring human souls to flower. Burbank drew similarities between the way that plants and humans grow. My work, Plant Your Dream, is based on similar principles.
