KAMUIT ® Khorasan Wheat Edu at National Heirloom Seed Expo
Grow A Healthier Pizza came alive on Day Two of the National Heirloom Seed Expo. This was Kid day, and Nadine was the mainstay of giving the kids--busloads of them--a delightful hands on experience of turning whole grains of Ancient KAMUT ® Khorasan wheat into fresh milled flour.
KAMUT ® Khorasan Wheat has been one of my mian plant teachers most of the year, and this ancient grain played a leading Role in recent months.
The kids love the experience of grinding the wheat.
The act brings alive and adds dimensions to Grow A Healthier Pizza,
the workshop and a theme that is rich in meaning.
Many, who hear the words, "Grow A Healthier Pizza!" have a very positive response.
It takes a lot of explaining..to get the full dimention of everything II have in mind.
