Lurrae Lupone is one of my favorite people in the world. Her Birthday was yesterday, August 9, 2012.I promised to go hear Jay Martin, the Founder of Juice Plus and the promoter of the Tower Garden, a vertical food growing methodthat is the answer helping more people grow food.
That is my purpose now. To help people get their beat back with nature.
Growing food in a Tower Garden is a Good First Step to learning how to remember again how to live on the earth. I had a basket full of Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds with me. There was tremendous receptivity for these seeds that support the Petaluma Seed Bank.

The planting took place at the San Bernardo Inn August 9, 2012.
More than 300 attended an evening session and heard about the Tower Garden.

LURRAE'S BIRTHDAY PRESENT

At the USDA, I volunteered to be the Enchanted Gardener for the USDA Peoples 'Organic" Garden. Mark Lipson, who organized the day's event wrote me a note: "Thank You for Being Our Enchanted Gardener!"
As I write this, I am about 20 days from a Caravan, September 1-10 to the National Heirloom Expo, September 11-13, 2012. Many of the details and support that Lurrae gave are yet to be grounded.
Garden Management Journal, yesterday was August 9. It was Feng Shui with Lurrae's Birthday. Lurrae made my First Ten Day East Coast Trip possible around this time last year. Lurrae picked me up in New York and took me to Connecticut. We visited farms. I planted many dreams. I spoke at the USDA on Organic Listening Day. Lurrae got me to the USDA on time. Then we went to Baltimore. It was a life shifting experience. I had never been supported so deeply and professionally by another person.
Juice Plus was in the background of the trip. Lurrae wanted me to get interested in Juice Plus. I had so man things on my plate including QuintEssential Products that I recommend. I did not have time for Juice Plus, other than using some and taking photos of Lurrae with the Juice Plus Products.
Fast Forward one year, about one month ago, Lurrae asked for her Birthday Present. She wanted me to go to the San Bernardo Inn and hear a man she admires Jay Martin, the founder of Juice Plus.
I was having a meltdown August 7, the day before Lurrae's Birthday. I ddi not feel I could go, but yesterday on her birthday, I made this a priority. I simply could not let Lurrae down. I had already used by day's ration of energy by 5 pm. The event started at 6:15. I was not going to let Lurrae down. I popped a few of my StayActive Pills to get through. These are an anti-inflammatory that works wonders for me. I had some Juice Plus here on my desk but I have not yet gotten into the habit of taking them.

Lurrae emailed Karen Jones, the West Coast Regional Director. They expected me when I arrived. I took a photo with Karen. Jay was about to speak.
I took a few photos of him at the Meet and Greet event in a lovely outdoor setting.
The entire trip would not have been possible without Lurrae.
She was my Girl Friday, my shirt Ironer, the one who went more than 100 miles to get me the organic pasture fed lamb I needed. Fast Forward one year. There was a gathering of Juice Plus last night at the San Bernardo Inn. I was completely wrapped up in details for the Caravan, September 1-10 to the National Heirloom Expo. Torah Torres was here yesterday putting together a book using Snapbox. That book will come out later in the day.

The planting took place at the San Bernardo Inn August 8, 2012.
More than 300 attended an evening session and heard about the Tower Garden.
Jay said the right things, so I planted the Dream.
I partnered with Cameron Campbell to have his Tower Garden at the upcoming Wholistic Expo August 24,25,26.
We will also have Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and encourage those who have Tower Gardens to use seeds the support the Petaluma Seed Bank.

I leave in about 21 Day for the National Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa.
My funding is not in place.
Where I will be received on the road is not in place.
The EG Mobile has not yet been in the shop for prep for the Road.
The Wholistic Expo is August 24, 25, 26.
I want to write a blog checkin with Lurrae and post that.

There was a leak in the garden.
I could not trace it.
I prayed on it.
I took pictures of the grape harvest coming in.
I looked for seeds on the Gary Hirshberg Organic Alfalfa Project.
I need to write to Gary and ask for the funding that was promised
at the National Product Expo West.
I need to find the photos of me in the Hami High Classroom taking
before the Medical Fair.
Complete on the work with Torah needs to be done and then
it needs to go live.
I need to do the poster for
A Gathering of Sacred Seeds.
check where it is at...

Redo that.
Fix the common...
