This Made me Tear Up--from Cheryl Canfield
INTRO
I found this during my middle of the night inspired writing session. I was looking for a link between Luther Burbank and Manley P. Hall. I had already discovered/ been reminded that Luther Burbank was honored by Yogananda. Yogananda dedicated "Autobiography of a Yogi" to Luther Burbank.
Yogananda, Manley P. Hall, Luther Burbank all inspired my spiritual father Dr. Bernard Jensen.
This post by Cheryl Canfield also had some very important notes about the nature of miracles.
I am taking on one of the most important journeys of my life now, a Caravan to the National Heirloom Expo September 11, 12 & 13. The intent of the Caravan is a continuation of the Free Ride of the 60's and earlier. Here is a timeline of I working on regarding Winning Back Our Sacred Seeds.

TIMELINE TO WIN BACK OUR SACRED SEEDS
I am committing to do the classes at the National Heirloom Expo before I have my walking papers set. I can see a need for $3000.00. I have a commitment of $525.00 so far. Last year, I was extremely uplifted by numbers of sponsors from the Natural Product Industry who lifted my life to another place. This year, I had similar "Yes" but the big funds--relatively speaking Big for me--are yet outstanding.
I do not want to discount that I could not have gotten this far this year with out miracles and Grace. I did have some boosts. There are forces in the Universe that are looking out for me. It does not matter now that yesterday I saw challenges that ask I rise up to do more, be more than ever before. I was not taken aback by such impactful events on top of being up enormous hours. In this morning blog today, I traced more of these feelings.

Forgive me, his name is out of my mind this moment, a friend of Armand Hammer. His wife, Patricia. Lived in SFV. I call upon my standard bearers. Dr. Harvey M Wiley M.D., and Alfred McCann. I stand upon the foundation of Dr. Bernard Jensen, Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, the stream we of consciousness that fed us all, and my Plant Teachers who love me.

FROM CHERYL CANFIELD ON MIRACLES
A clinical psychologist named Wes Hiler said, “Spiritual healings are called ‘supernatural’ because they are rare and we have not yet learned all the laws involved in their operation. Nor have we been able to replicate them at will. They seem to be different from events of everyday life. But life, itself, is a miracle; the existence of living organisms could not be anticipated on the basis of the laws of physics and chemistry. We are so accustomed to such organisms, however, that we forget the enormous complexity and ingenuity to be found in all living creatures. Therefore we do not recognize the miraculous nature of life.”
What is a miracle anyway? It might be an extraordinary or awe inspiring event that elicits an incredulous response. “What was the chance of that happening?” To those who respond to such events as random happenings, the little miracles of every day are more likely to go unnoticed. To those who respond to the synchronicity of an event with a belief in divine guidance or in the unexplained forces of nature and the universe, the experience of miracles become more abundant. If you don't believe it, experiment with a change of attitude and perception—and see what happens. If your expectations are low you can be pretty sure that you will meet them. Poor health and low expectations are spokes in the same wheel. Set your expectations high and you might be surprised by a positive change in your health. Here is another story to inspire you:
Luther Burbank was a pioneer who discarded the limitations of popular belief in the field of horticulture and created miracles. He devoured Charles Darwin’s two-volume treatise in 1868 entitled “The Variation of Animals and Plants Under Domestication,” which espoused the idea that organisms vary when they are removed from their natural conditions. Convinced that plants, as well as people, behave differently when in a different environment, he began to order varieties of plants from countries like Japan and New Zealand to cross with homegrown plants. The results were thousands of varieties over his lifetime, like the Climax Plum that tastes like pineapple and the Royal Walnut that outgrew regular walnuts eight to one, and which Burbank hoped would revolutionize the furniture business.
When he later happened upon a seed ball in his potato field he applied Darwin's theory. Since potatoes almost never set seed they are propagated from the buds or “eyes” of the potato. He knew that when potato seeds were found they would grow a batch of hybrids and that got him excited. What if one of the hybrids developed into a miracle potato? He experimented with the 23 seeds in the ball and one of them gave him a variety that doubled the average yield—and was white and creamy, unlike the common red skinned variety. This excellent baker was purchased by a seed man and went on to dominate the US potato market.
Not miracles you say? When Burbank wanted a plant to develop in some particular and new way uncommon to their species he would get on his knees and talk to them. He believed that plants have more than twenty sensory perceptions that we are unable to recognize because they are different than our own. He didn't know if they could understand his words, but he felt that they could comprehend his meaning.
Burbank went on to develop a spineless cactus. “While I was conducting my experiments with cacti,” he said, “I often talked to the plants to create a vibration of love. You have nothing to fear,” I would tell them. “You don't need your defensive thorns. I will protect you.” According to Manly P. Hall, “Burbank explained to me that in all his experimentation he took plants into his confidence, asked them to help, and assured them that he held their small lives in deepest regard and affection.”
In 1906, the earthquake that devastated San Francisco also laid waste to Santa Rosa, where Burbank lived. While everything around it lay shattered and broken, not a pane of glass in Burbank's huge greenhouse was even cracked. Quietly, Burbank surmised that his communion with the forces of nature and the cosmos might well have protected his greenhouse. He believed in and accepted the miraculous in his everyday life.
To a crowd gathered expecting to hear him give explicit details on how he produced all of his horticultural wonders he said, “Preconceived notions, dogmas and all personal prejudice and bias must be laid aside. Listen patiently, quietly and reverently to the lessons, one by one, which Mother Nature has to teach, shedding light on that which was before a mystery, so that all who will, may see and know. She conveys her truths only to those who are passive and receptive. Accepting these truths as suggested, wherever they may lead, then we have the whole universe in harmony with us.”

GROW A HEALTHY PIZZA WORKSHOP
TO BE CONDENSED AND SIMPLIFIED NOW
What does "Grow a Healthier Pizza" have to do with Inspiring Victory for the California Label GMOs Ballot Initiative?
"Grow a Healthier Pizza" is a hands-on experience. We learn the state of wheat today. We learn about tomatoes, dairy products, fresh vegetables and meat choices. We grind ancient KAMUT® khorasan grains and see whole grains turn to flour. We taste Organic ingredients. We learn about non organic ingredients on our supermarket shelf now that may contain what are called Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) that are made in labs and not a farm. We learn about other chemicals and GMOs- that somehow got in our food supply without anyone asking us if we wanted them there; these ingredients may be effecting our stamina and endurance from youth to old age. Planting whole, pure, organic wheat and non GMO tomatoes is part of the workshop. As the seeds grow, so grow the dreams we plant. I travel with one central pot and a silver box that I say contains the deepest dreams of humanity. My message is "Plant Your Dream." Gardening, even in one pot with intention, helps us get our beat back with nature. One of the intentions being planted in this pot is to for a real national Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food on Facebook about GMOs. I see students entering into debate, learning all sides of the GMO question, and stimulating further the national conversation. This dialogue is projected for a science classroom and will begin this fall. You can keep up with the progress of this conversation on the Plant Your Dream Blog.

America will regenerate beginning with our youth learning all sides of the GMO question and tasting healthy ingredients so they can choose their future. I am setting out in 2012 to inspire thousands of new gardeners. I set this intention when I spoke at Organic Listening Day at the USDA in Washington September 20, 2011, and volunteered to be the Enchanted Gardener for the People's Garden Initiative. The beginning: We can each grow some of our own food in containers and get our beat back with nature. I travel with a silver box that contains the deepest dreams of humanity, and a pot where you are invited to Plant Your Dream. I hand out seeds to others as well and encourage their planting. We have reached a tipping point of consumer initiative thanks to so many divergent voices coming together. A literal grassroots movement of gardeners will inspire the White House, Congress, and its Federal agencies to come to terms with Real Food Safety; this includes GMO proliferation. Our Food Emergency is my pressing issue of the 2012 campaign. As a consumer movement, the Right to Know Initiative reached near 1,000,000 signers in early May to get on the California Ballot. Now we are taking the next step at the ballot box this November. Washington is in the farm bed with Biotech Agriculture. Thousands more small gardeners are needed, and a new generation of organic farmers. We will ignite a movement of 10 million strong or more leading to 'Uncle Sam Marries "Anti" GMO.' "Grow a Healthier Pizza" is my contribution toward this victory through blogging, educating and planting strong intentions.
