So far...

saw an ND, feeling ripped off and at square one

My ND has me on an Elimination diet. She wants the routine blood work done as it's been a year or more since my last blood tests. She had decided to ignore my candida problem, alothough she acknowleged there is one, the back of my throat is covered in little white dots, and in her office I score 279 on the Candida test she had me take~ VERY high for Candida overgrowth as it states "yeast-connected health problems are almost certainly present in a woman with a score over 180 and a man with a score over 140)
She wants to me correct my digestion and find out what I am allergic to. Honestly, I have done the Elimination diet on my own, and she recommended I take Magnesium and L-Glutamine (I DO ALREADY!) and have have an avocado a day, use milled flax in my smoothie etc.
I paid her 284.00 to tell me stuff I was already doing!!! She wants me to gain weight, and I am trying...but what about
A) the constipation. Now it's a lot of that rubbery mucus stuff, greenish and slimy in texture
B) THE GD CANDIDA! Wtf?? COME ON! That's what I want to address. And from what I have read you can't figure out food allergies until the yeast overgrowth is gone.
I feel pretty lost and ripped off.
