One of my intentions during my recent trip to the 2nd Festival of Traditional Medicine of the Americas, May 18-20, at Professors Park, Tecate, Mexico, was to have indigenous elders send blessing for my Caravan to the National Heirloom Seed Exposition, September 11, 12 & 13 in Santa Rosa, CA.
This happened.
I had profound and deep interactions with a number of the healers.

IRT is very excited to be organizing this Tour to educate Californians about GMOs!
Jeffrey Smith, John Robbins, local doctors, celebrities, and other wonderful GMO educational speakers will be touring California and we would love your participation to make this a success!
We need volunteers to help with:
Venues: Leads for venues that can accommodate 50 – 500 people. Most events will be for 150 – 200 people. Free or inexpensive venues, let us know location, contact person.
Information on current CA events, such as festivals and conferences to create speaking engagements.
Tour Locations: We are open to all areas.
Local Speakers at each event! We need help finding local speakers to share their stories about why this is important. We also need expert local speakers in related areas.
Dates: a list of tentative dates is available
We need a Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteers Opportunities:
→ Registration, set-up, greeters, runners, info table, etc.
→ Promotions (post flyers, reach out through social media, etc.)
→ Host tour speakers in their homes and act as chauffeur
→ Sponsors/Donors – any leads for tour sponsors would be great - this is an opportunity for non-GMO food companies to share samples and be known, as well as other like-minded businesses.
→ Event Organizers – leadership roles at one or more events
→ Media work/Press
→ IT, graphic artists, musicians, social media, calling donors, administrative assistance
