JEFFREY SMITH SPEAKS TO THE REAL SCIENCE BEHIND GMOs
Powerful! Listen to the Jeffrey Smith-Alex Jones interview:
The Connection between GMOs and Autism is Explored in this Interview.

THE OFFICIAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT POSITION IS THAT GMOs AND CONVENTION FOODS ARE BASICALLY NO DIFFERENT
The Federal position is that GMOs--foods that are Genetically Engineered--are basically no different. This is a position that may be good for business, as some see it, but it is not good for health.
Some of the FDA position can be found all over the internet
Here is one quote from the Grist Article quoted here:
FDA spokeswoman Tamara Ward said the agency “has not found that foods from genetically engineered organisms, as a class, present different or greater safety concerns than their conventional counterparts.”
Of course, the FDA can say that, because — as Tom Philpott reports — the science behind the safety of GMOs is limited to nonexistent. And not by accident. As he details, there is almost no research on the health impacts of genetically engineered food; the food industry convinced the FDA it wasn’t necessary and companies who control the patents on GMO seeds refuse to allow scientists access unless they agree not to look into safety.
RESEARCH IS THWARTED ON GMOs
Crop Scientists Say Biotechnology Seed Companies Are Thwarting Research

Biotechnology companies are keeping university scientists from fully researching the effectiveness and environmental impact of the industry’s genetically modified crops, according to an unusual complaint issued by a group of those scientists.

Ken Ostlie, an entomologist, said Syngenta had withdrawn its permission and a study about corn and rootworms had to stop.
“No truly independent research can be legally conducted on many critical questions,” the scientists wrote in a statement submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency. The E.P.A. is seeking public comments for scientific meetings it will hold next week on biotech crops.
The statement will probably give support to critics of biotech crops, like environmental groups, who have long complained that the crops have not been studied thoroughly enough and could have unintended health and environmental consequences.
The researchers, 26 corn-insect specialists, withheld their names because they feared being cut off from research by the companies. But several of them agreed in interviews to have their names used.

" Shields of Cornell said financing for agricultural research had gradually shifted from the public sector to the private sector. That makes many scientists at universities dependent on financing or technical cooperation from the big seed companies."
“People are afraid of being blacklisted,” he said. “If your sole job is to work on corn insects and you need the latest corn varieties and the companies decide not to give it to you, you can’t do your job.” http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/20/business/20crop.html
Animals Turn Away for GMOs
This Video shows that cows, when given a chance to choose between foods that have GMOs and Food that have no GMOs, will turn away from the GMOs.
It also says that most of us have lost our sixth sense, not turn away from GMOs.
ANIMALS CAN TELL GMO FOODS FROM NON GMO FOODS
Animals can tell GMO--Genetically Engineered foods from Non GMO foods and will turn away from it, these cows demonstrate. We have lost this sixth sense, says, Jeffrey Smith.
This is why we need to all work to get GMO's Labeled.

Chapter 4: Deadly Epidemic
In 1989, first dozens, then thousands fell sick. About one hundred people died, others struggled with paralysis, unbearable pain, and debilitating symptoms. [14] Authorities eventually tracked its cause: contaminants produced in one company's genetically modified variety of the food supplement L-tryptophan. [15] This chapter describes the evidence implicating genetic engineering as the cause of the epidemic and the efforts by industry and the FDA to divert the blame. Current regulations are so loose, they would allow that same type of deadly supplement onto the market today.
