Champions for 2012 include Dr. Harvey W. Wiley, whose vision established the FDA to kick junk food and patent drugs of no good out of our lives. Time to pick up where he left off in 1906 and get the job done.

GMOs CA Battle will need The Lone Ranger To Win!
850,000 signatures needed now by April 22 to push back Monsanto.
With A Week Remaining in a fantastic ten week Campaign, Pamm Larry is calling for volunteers to push harder! Many more new volunteers are needed to bring the Ballot Measure over the Top. We are here to win this. We need a vital grassroots campaign that continues to inspire Organic business leaders to support. At the recent Natural Product Expo West #expowest. I felt a tremendous buzz behind the national and local CA effort.
IN San Diego, where we have the largest Earth Day event in the world, April 22, I am challenging the more than 19 volunteers to lead the way in California. All petitions need to be mailed directly to Ken Masterton by April 24, 2012
Send them to
PO BOX 88

We are All Growing in the Same Pot Now
Our top Non-Profits, Consumer Education Groups, Grassroots Activities, and Organic Business Leaders all were planting Khorasan Seeds in the same pot at #expowest as a jesture of our impending success. We are all Growing in the Same Pot Now. The Tipping Point is Now. Let us claim this.
April 22 is the Last Day, but Pamm Larry says if we Need More Time to Secure our 850,000 the Campaign will take some Extra Days to Gather Signatures
April 22 has been set as the last day to collect signatures. The deadline may be extended another week if needed. The procedure is this: Signatures are all sent to our professional coordinator. Then they are sent back to the local leaders for submission to the individual county clerks. Then the individual county clerks sent their individual counts to the State Attorney General of California. This is why it is very important for Volunteers to only have signatures from your own county on one petition form.
Please go to the main site for Label GMOs. Volunteer to help now. Be exact in learning what you need to know to qualify a signature. The steps include: 1. Asking a person to sign. 2. Making sure they are registered to vote. 3. Getting your signed forms back to your local coordinator asap.
500,000 signatures were in by March 27; That does not mean slow down. It means Speed Up
This is approximately a ten-week campaign to get on the California Ballot with an initiative. Pamm Larry told me on March 27, the same day that the national Label It! Campaign reached 1 million signatures, that we had 500,000 signatures. This was reported to me by one local professional signature gatherer at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market as a remarkable feat for such a short period; however, we need 850,00-800,000 Signatures that pass inspection and are approved. My report from a local signature gathering unit in San DIego was that 65% of signatures were not for registered voters.
What does it Mean to Be a Registered Voter?
Every time you move, you need to register to vote. The local county clerks check very carefully. With this Ballot measure, pleasure make sure you are being very accurate. In San Diego history, as an example, in the mayor race a few years back, a few simple mis marks made the difference in who was elected mayor!
How will you help? The campaign began February 15 once the Attorney General approved the wording that went on the petition. April 22 is a day that celebrates Earth Day in many cities.

Uncle Sam Marries "Anti" GMO
This is where we are headed, as I see it: Uncle Sam Marries "Anti" GMO. Label GMOs is the first step. One of the vantage points of being near 65 is that I have seen some history. I remember standing on a table outside the Cafeteria at Cal State Northridge 1972. We were still in Cambodia. Kent State just happened. Four innocent students were shot. We, the students, wanted to shut down the campuses across the country. We wanted to end the war. Our campus were slow to act. We had many meetings; there was no consensus. I put on my sport suit and a tie. I asked others to pull some tables together outside the cafeteria. I climbed up on them and started to give orders because there just wasn't any cohesiveness among the many opinions of what to do. Today, the message is, from Pamm Larry, "Circle The Wagons! My message is "We are all growing in the same pot! Let's work together to get this done!"
Back then, in 1972, we did shut the campus down, and we did end the war. The energy I see today is calling for us to push back Monsanto. We, together, will do this. We are in a Food Emergency. We are in a state of Seed Genocide. We had great art on campus back then. The Art that is coming out now inspires me today. Check out the Photos on Occupy Monsanto Facebook. The energy today reminds me of those days when innocent lives were lost and we had to shut it down. Thank You, Monsanto! Through your actions, for demanding us to unify as one sustainability movement. You have played your role well. I do not want to call you names, Monsanto. I just want to say that when we enter into an honest Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food on Facebook the The Future of Food will be determined. If there is to be a planet for all of our children, including your beloved children, the world will return to sanity. We are all here to grow in the same pot on one beautiful earth. Our future will be organically grown. --Leslie Goldman, Your Enchanted Gardener

Congratulations on a powerful second National Heirloom Exposition. The event comes less than two months before the November 6 election when here in California we will Label GMOs and begin to win our seeds back. Your role in bringing in a Post GMO era, so called forth by the Earth herself, is acknowledged. May San Marzano Tomato Seeds be eaten everywhere. Thanks for helping our youth grow healthier Pizza.

DRUMMING UP SUPPORT AT THE HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET TODAY, JANUARY 29, 2012
Today I will drum up some support and test the waters at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market, one of San Diego's most popular venues for real food. How much support will I find there? I will show you photos later!
I ATTENDED A VOLUNTEER TRAINING MEETING JANUARY 28, 2012
The meeting was at Ocean Beach People's Food. The room has a good-size attendance.
Elizabeth Lambe layed out the game plan. She is traveling to areas around So Cal helping to train volunteers.
HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET SAYS YES TO DRIVE TO HELP LABEL GENETICALLY ENGINEERED FOOD
JUST WATCHED THE CUTEST VIDEO CLIP OF FREYA MADE AT
THE HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET
Phil Noble, of Sage Mountain Farm and Inland Empire CSA had a great helper at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market January 29, 2012. It was Freya Sadler, who explained some things to me about what organic food is...No poisons. She was right on top of the situation with bees. Bees do not like GMO systemic poisons that are part of Genetically Engineered Technology. Giving people the RIght to Know if the food they are eating is Genetically Engineered is the focus of a new ballot measure in California.
Just watched the cutest video clip I made yesterday with Freya Sadler, a pre-teen, at the HIllcrest Farmer's Market. She was helping Phil Noble of Sage Mountain Farm. Freya spent a week at Sage Mountain Farm with the kids in her class a few years ago. She was yearning to go back.
FREYA SPEAKS OUT ABOUT ORGANICS AND HELPING OUR BEES
Freya did not know the meaning of the words on the sign, "Label Genetically Engineered Food." Beginning around February 15, for ten weeks, we have the opportunity to turn the world around for Freya and the others who do not know that GMOs, i.e, Genetically Engineered Foods are in many of the foods we eat.
I began writing about our Food Emergency a number of years ago. The situation has gotten better at the same time it has gotten worse.
Now is the time to take our seeds back. Now is the time to make sure that kids like Freya, have a world fit for kids.
In the clip we made, I asked her what organic was. She knew that it is food without poisons. I told her that Genetically engineered Foods systemically alter our plants to be resistant to Roundup Herbicide. The problem is, Roundup Ready Seeds, and this Genetically Gengineered Food, is no longer healthy for bees.
Freya knows that if something kills bees, it is going to kill us.

DR BRONNER'S MAGIC SOAPBOX NEWS
Here is one Passage from the The Moral ABC Book
"Don't hide your light under a bushel...!
Let your light shine forth so all mankind can see your good works to glorify our eternal Father's law as expressed by you!
--Emanuel Bronner, The Moral ABC I & 2, P. 39
Second night of Passover, April 7, 2012, the Journey from Slavery to Freedom. Tomorrow is Easter. I am looking through The Moral ABC I & 2 Emanuel Bronner compiled. Inspired by this article that is worthy of being read at a Seder. Here is a quote, with a little edit from the book:
The Bronner Family is a backer of the California Initiative to Label GMOs
The Bronner Family has contributed to help put the CA Label GMOs Petition on the Ballot. Monsanto Corp plans to spend millions to defeat the measure as the Multi-National Corp faces off with Californian's insist they have a Right to Know if their foods are Genetically Engineered. Dr. Mercola, who gave $500,000 to help the campaign was slammed by a Sacramento Bee Reporter. Hundreds made comments.
