Intro to why I'm doing this!
Transitioning to raw vegan for weightloss and health benefits
Date: 3/6/2012 11:36:14 AM ( 12 y ) ... viewed 20016 times I've been vegetarian for a year, vegan for 5 months and now I would like to try transitioning to raw vegan!
There are a number of factors to why I want to do this, the health benefits being one - I have aggressive rheumatoid arthritis, I was diagnosed at 16 I'm now 25, and I'm starting to really struggle. It's been gradually getting worse over the last 2 years and because of this I have also gained weight and feel even more uncomfortable because of it, I have always been slight, but have put on a couple of stone due to lack of exercise and comfort eating. I'm not overweight 133lbs at 5ft 7 but I want to stop the comfort eating and become more active again once my arthritis improves.
I'll be blogging my progress and will start on the 9th of this month(2days away) when I return to my own house and can fully prepare. I hope to be able to carry on this lifestyle indefinitely, improve the arthritis and lose my extra pounds...to feel like myself again! :-)
