I am Seeing and Seeding this as a source of education, fun,
and funding for the outstanding programs at both Fairfax and Hamilton,
two schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District, that
are being challenged by statewide budget cuts.
Hamilton High already has an incredible organic food growing
garden that is one year old.
Fairfax has a proposed garden.
Fairfax had a Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony on Saturday
June 18. This was organized by the Fairfax development
Office that is sponsored by funds raised by the weekly
Melrose Trading Post.
Fairfax High is committed to be the first school in LA to
raise funds through its alumni base to solve the shortfall of
funding for outstanding programs.
Fairfax and Hamilton have a history of incredible drama,
music, arts programs. Both schools field athletic teams.
In 2011, Fairfax won the Los Angeles City Football championship.
Hamilton was a high runner up in football.
