Eating from the same pot
was an idea that Angelene had.
I brought some things home from the Hillcrest Farmers' Market
to Start this. Summer Nash visited yesterday
to explore living here.
She started the soup.

STONE SOUP
An idea that Angelene had to bring us all
together.

Took Picture of Stone Soup...
This was Angelene's idea to make a group soup....
SQUASH IS FROM JR ORGANICS
AND SUZIE'S FARM
from the Hillcrest Farmers; Market
it has squash that Summer Nash cut up
and put in the over.
She cut up some beet tops.... and beets and put them
in the soup too!
I put in dried tomatoes in honor of Angelene...
who loved tomatoes...
The dried tomatoes are from Terra Bella Farm.
The squash was baked in the oven.
I took it out and took off the skin.
I put the squash in the soup.
Chef Jem contributed his Palomar Mountain Water.
I also put in the finest water I know from
Phil Noble of Sage Mountain Farm.
This start water is from a well that is very, very deep.
Phil grows his food with this water.
All is organic food or beyond.
