21 Day Water Fast: Day 4
Date: 2/24/2011 4:46:53 AM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 23016 times Last night I dreamed I was eating biscuits, cookies, chocolates, candies, some sort of mini-pastries with chocolate filling, bread. During the first moments I panicked, thinking that I have broken the fast, and in such an inappropriate way, that I will not reach my weight goal etc. but then I became conscious it was just a dream. So I started eating more and more, enjoying every bit of flavor, and hoping that I will not wake up very fast, not before I have a chance to taste all the sweets around me.
Except for that, it feels quite good. I've been doing IF (sometimes with 2 non-eating days) for the last several months so I didn't suffer any physical or psychological shock when I started this fast.
Got in ketosis in day 2, no disturbing symptoms.
Working 5 days per week, from 9 to 7, intellectual work exclusively. I still have a fair amount of energy and mental focus, hopefully this will last during the entire fast. Except for the weekends, I only took one day of holiday on day 19 (days 20 and 21 are during a weekend), I hope it was a good decision and that I won't need additional days off in the meantime.

I am so eager to drink my first 1:1 orange+water juice!
And then the veggies... it will be so good.
