Modified Master Cleanse - Day 1

I have done a lot of research on intermittent fasting and master cleanse. However, with my schedule sometimes I just can't stick to a long term fast. I suppose I could wait for a time but I want to get started right now.

I have done a lot of research on intermittent fasting and master cleanse. However, with my schedule sometimes I just can't stick to a long term fast. I suppose I could wait for a time but I want to get started right now. Basically, I will use the steps of the Master Cleanse but eat occasionally something healthy if I have to. But total full days of Master Cleanse will equal to 40. I am attempting to finish this in 2 months by April 11th.
My goals are:
1. Maintain a healthy lifestyle
2. Break food addiction
3. Stop Smoking
4. No binging and purging
5. Weight goal 122

2/11/11 - Current Weight 129.6 lbs
Yesterday because I knew I was starting the Master Cleanse, I went a bit overboard with the food and had my final cigarette. Last night I had the Salt Water Flush to prepare for today but I didn't do it on an empty stomach so besides some gurgling I had no effects. This morning I felt bloated so I decided to have some fiber cereal with prune juice to flush out on the negative waste I ate yesterday. Hopefully I will have a movement soon. The cereal will be the last thing I eat today besides the master cleanse solution. I woke up with a slight headache and joint pain in my knees, I'm hoping this is from the detox beginning with the salt water flush. I plan to do another flush tonight, hopefully it will work better since it will be on an empty stomach. I will update again tomorrow.

Ok I lied.. I'm updating again now!
3 hours later, I did have a bowel movement, almost immediately after. Thinking of adding prune juice to the mix and having a glass in the morning if I feel the need like I did today when the Salt Water Flush (SWF) made me feel bloated. I don't plan on drinking much Senna Tea because it does not work very well for me. So far I have not felt hungry so I haven't drank my concoction yet, probably because of all the junk food I ate yesterday. I'll probably have a glass in about an hour or so for some energy.

Update again, its 4:30pm and the hunger has really started to kick in. It could be mental though considering I am counting down the minutes til I can leave work and start my weekend. I finished my MC concoction around 3pm because I wanted to go home on an empty stomach so I can do a Salt Water Flush and rest. I looked at my tongue today and it does have a layer of white coating on it - detox is definately the right thing to do. I also have upper back pain now esp. in my shoulders. I noticed that when I smoked a lot I would get a knot on the upper left hand side of my back between my shoulder blades. Perhaps, this pain is also from the smoking. My hands are very cold I think from the lack of food. But today is my day 1 so I need to stay motivated, just 30 more minutes until I can leave work and keep my mind off food on the drive home.
