Last night, I attended a meeting of the
Drumbeat San Diego local group.
There was a circle of talented media and Technology
enthusiasts, with youthful vigor, who want to make a better world.
This was my second meeting.
I was invited in by Andrew Reiff who made this draft
of a Video for me for footage at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market.
I am also including another video I made last week
that aimed to begin to inspire 1 million of us to come together
and fully claim that Democracy is not a specator sport.
I want to thank Fran Avandano of PR4Progress for
setting me in the direction about one month ago for building
my first Wordpress site, and Natan Mallinger of Third Eye Interactive
who is also creating a New Beet Keeper Website to more full
bridge with my daily journal that I keep here on Curezone.
I am setting a Seed Dream
that these interactions will benefit us all.
I want to see them help enliven the
Enchanted Garden Intentional Community Growing Grounds
where I live.
I want to see them fulfill the needs and happiness
of the local farmers who are my friends at the Hillcrest Farmers' Market.
THIS IS MY EMAIL TO MERE BOK
and ART NEIL OF THE NEW MEDIA RIGHTS GROUP
This is my email that I am sending now to Mera Bok,
Art Neill, of the New Media Rights group, Andrew Reiff
of LightStitch Studio, and a few others.
I am releasing these Videos now in the spirit of
Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, one of my spiritual mentors
who often said, "Siempre Mejor!" --Always Better.
We begin where we are, coming out of hiding,
doing our best as best we know, using the technology
we have as best we can.

Mera, Art,
We are in the middle of a national food emergency.
The Congress is about to "sneak through" an appended bill to another bill
so they can get their way with passing their version of what they consider Food Safety
that has nothing to do with recognizing that local community food sustainability is the
true cornerstone of Real Food Safety.
The impending signing of this bill into law is the the end of anything.
It is merely the beginning of a year long campaign as I see it to
Educate Washington on Real Food Safety.
I have been working on this issue of addressing our national food emergency
for near a year now.
In my close relationship with the HIllcrest Farmers' Market,
I sense that not more than 5% of the shoppers are aware of the
impending passage of this bill that could very easily make the lives
of local farmers that I know personally more difficult to continue farming.
One farm, La Milpa Organica Farm, shut its doors August 18.
This was merely writing on the wall that micro-farmers, 15% of the world's population
are finding it difficult to exist within a agricultural regulatory framework where
the government wants its cut of all commerce and wants to treat farming as
a commodity rather than a vital substance needed to help people ground their dreams
and health.
SO WHERE CAN THE DRUMBEAT FIT IN
TO THIS EDUCATION PROCESS?
WHERE CAN OUR UPCOMING CONFERENCE FEB 5 FIT IN?
I want to activiate 1 million people who call Washington.
I want to see 1 million more of us recognize that Democracy is not a spectator sport.
How would we identify these 1 milllion callers?
How would we collect that kind of data?
There are 435 Members of Congress that are voiting for what they imagine
is Food Safety, and a ton of others, how many I cannot say, we are not being heard.
Those who stand with Read Food and Local Sustainability need to be heard.
I want to continue to make videos of the local Hillcrest Farmers Market
and create more of a local food community, beginning at this farmers' market,
that supports the four CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture) farms that
are Beet Keeper growers.
I have started to single out Congress people both in the Senate and House.
I want to cultivate these relationships one by one.
There are already sites where it lists information about each Congress person
including information about their birthday and the names of their wifes.
Through the support of our local Drumbeat I feel we can create a strong local
community that rallies around real food and our local farmers, and remaining pieces of farm land.
We need 1000's more local gardeners and farmers growing food as a way of life
that we might return to living in harmony with the beat of nature.
RIght now, we have 435 Members of Congress who are more at home with
being in harmony with international Food Rules--made up by the Codex Alimnetarius Commission--
that dictates international and national behind the scenes policy.
This is an exciting time that we are all being called together to use
our highest talents to co-create a fulfillment community that grows to include
those who are casting their votes soon for the future of food.
Another part of the Education campaign will include the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
Growing Grounds where I live. This is a 1/3 acre land where many plants are now growing,
and the ideal for people to live together. I want to take steps to further ground and create
the model of those who can live together on a piece of land here near SDSU.
I want to express the problems and the opportunities when people attempt to
live together.
It is inevitable that more and more people come together and learn to live together.
We need to add more cooperative living in the world now.
