Days 6, 7 and morning of 8
The last 3 days.
Date: 7/22/2010 6:51:07 AM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1458 times I haven't posted in a while because quite honestly just maintaing my normal routines with work and family is enough to wipe me out. I've been catching a lot of catnaps whenever I can.
In the evening of day 5 my husband convinced me to do some light strength training with him. I was fine with it because I had a surge of energy on the 5 and felt great. I got through the exercise session just fine. Though it was a little disconcerting that I started feeling that my husband is trying to sabotage my fast. He kept mentioning needing protein to rebuild the muscles. Then when I prepared dinner for him and my daughter he exclaimed, "You're still not eating!". Yeah, mister what part of fasting is unclear to you? Anyway it would be nice to have some support on this but I don't think it's going to happen. Selavi..
Day 6 began with me feeling completely awful. I honestly think I overdid the exercise and will most likely refrain from doing anything more than light rebounding, walking and stretching from here on out.
Yesterday was uneventful. I slept every chance I could get.
Today I am so nauseous I feel that if I move fast I am going to vomit. I know I don't have anything in there, yet the urge to be sick is distracting. I've read that others experience this as well at some points in their fast. I guess I will just soldier through and wait for the next surge of energy.
Does anyone else have vivid dream while fasting? Every night since I've begun fasting I've been having full technicolor 3D dreams with scents and emotions. Mainly they've been a mash-up of past experiences in my life. For example, elements of my early childhood mixed in with my twenties spent in Germany. Just strange things. Some of them are disturbing in their context. I've been keeping a dream journal so that when this is all over I can revisit them and maybe gain some understanding.
Well this is all for now. Hopefully my nausea will fade as the morning progresses.
