Congratulations! 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Wrap Up

I've had a lot of other things on my mind of late.
Haven't had time to make followup comments
on the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Conference,
April 24-25, 2010.
My reasons for not commenting,
so not that the event meant very little to me,
but because it was so huge.
When you give a lot to something,
you receive a lot back.
This was a monumental Marker
for the year's events.
I believe it left a considerable mark on our city
of San Diego.
In the back of my mind, I want to make a film about
the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Conference.
I see this event as being part of an extended
Month of Earth Day Activities that began April 15
with the unanticipated arrival of First Lady Michelle Obama
to the New Roots Community Garden, proceeded
to the Earth Fair and World Beat Cultural Center Earth Day
April 28, went out to SDSU for a full Earth Week of
activities, including Earth Day April 22, 2010; then
on to the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Conference
at SDSU; and then the California Student Sustainability
Coalition meeting at UCSD, the last weekend of April-May 1.
It was so great debriefing with numbers of the planning
committee yesterday at the Old Trolley BarK Park.
It was a deep, authentic, leasurely debriefing.
I enjoyed it very much, listening to all who attended.
We all had a lot of time to express.
I will write more before long.
