Off the phone with Stephen Greely,
deputy director of the CIty of San Diego
Environmental Services Department.
We talked a few weeks ago at the
Very Important Planet Reception.
I was showing Biosmart compost friendly
takeout containers. They were part of the
silent auction.
He told me they had done some tests
on PLA cuts that are compost friendly.
I just called.
He told me that Paige Hailey, the person
who was making a report, was doing so
as "we spoke" right now at the San Diego zoo.
I want to have the Biosmart products
evaluated by the City of San Diego
Environmental Services Department.
They made need another kind of
compost operation for them to demonstrate that
they fall apart.
I am going to follow up
with Paige Hailey.
