Day 39, ten affirmations

2. My struggles are not unique, we all have them.
3. TodayI am grateful to be alive.
4. I commit the rest of my day to G*d's Love & Light.
5. I will imagine, as I leave work to go out to an AA function tonight, that I truly do have huge, glorious, white, protective wings branching out of each scapula. Not to be 'better than' or because I'm 'less than' - but because I want to remember whose purpose I am to fulfill while I'm here on this Earth.
6. I am Love, Light, Peace, and Serenity.
7. All I do is out of Love - nothing else really, really matters.
8. As I look into each person's eyes tonight, I can imagine that they too have wings - they are G*d's perfect creation standing before me.
9. Today is all I have. I can make it to bed tonight without worry, hurt, pain, shame, guilt, or the inability to just 'be'.
10. Tonight I will take this gorgeous energy G*d have given me and balance my checkbook and organize my bills.
I've been diagnosed and I am relieved. Now, the responsibility ( in addition to being a recovering alcoholic) for rehabilitation and living in the solutin is mine. I can forgive all the ways I just didn't show up in the past.
I truly loved and continue to love my only son. It is living in the solution that amends is made. Amends and love knows no boundary of time and space. He used to say to me, "You can't see time, Mom." What a beautiful teenager he was. He was stretching his wings with his understanding of this world, time and space. I love you, T.
