Made it to March 2010,
my greatest year yet.
I at blogging at the California Small Farm Conference
set up at the registration desk.,
Ralph Crevoshay says hello. So I will blog on his project.
What your project?
We are establishing direct sales channels direct from the
farm to independent retailers, food service distributors,
and CSA's.
Why CSA's.
The california season for heirloom tomatoes starts in June and ends
in the late fall. We start in the late fall and end in July.
We have something that a CSA can use.
We have demonstrated that the consumers want these tomatoes.
What is special about the colors?
Pink, black, yellow, orange, bi-color, and stripped green one.
No web site dream.
What is your dream?
30 acre nethouse farm.
What will you be celebrating a year from now.
A full capacity about 200,00 cartons of fruit, and looking forward
expansion of another 30 to 50.
All acres are in a remote desert location in La Paz, Mexico,
southern tip.
They will be affordable.
Our grower is Chaim Ram has achieved extraordinary efficiency
of low cost and high yield. This is not typical for most commercial
organic farms.
His heirlooms are locally in San Diego at O.B. People's Food Store.
They are the only heirloom's there now. They are $2.99 a lb
at People's in comparison to typical price of $5.00 or $6.00 a pound.
To reach Ralph contact him through
his email address,

When I need tomatoes Ralph will provide them.
I am welcome at the shule.
Ralph was at the shule when I went with Eva,
The Chabad of Uhiversity City.
We need to find a food service distributor
who would like to commit to develop the market for this product.
