The World's First Talking Beet Plant is happy to report
that her friend Tom Villsack, head of the Department of
Agriculture, has announced President Obama will
be dedicating $10 Billion over the next decade
to improve school lunches.

To help out,
Uncle Leslie and Keep the Beet
will be bringing locally grown organic food
to Ms Eva Becker's 10th grade science classes
the next time he is in L.A.
Meanwhile, his favorite Science Teens are invited
to go beet Papa Joe, Goyo, and the other helpers form
JR ORGANIC at the Santa Monica Farmers' Market
on Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM,
and the Mar Vista Farmers Market from 9 AM-2 PM
located across from the Bowling Alley on Venice Blvd.
Papa Joe is right up front on the Street at Venice Blvd.
Parents can park in the Post Office Parking lot that
a joins the Mar Vista Farmers' Market.
