Just exchanged some Obama dollars with Chef Jem.
I took out about $100.00 of them from UNION BANK
not long along so we could cash between us.
Today I gave CHef Jem $30.00 for clearing the drains
in December, and then $20.00 for work he will do tomorrow
as part of THE GREAT EARTH CLEANUP.
The goal is to restore Area E to his natiive natural state.
It is been impacted with things from the basement
for more than a year.
I have numbers of things still out there, not too many.
This s our healing area on the property,
where massages can take place in summer outside.
There are a number of old cases of books that
will be broken down. These were replaced by
newer shelving that I bought from BERNARD JENSEN INTERNATIONAL
last year. They are now in the basement.
These exchange of friendship also turned into
a time to have a face to face conversation about
CHEF JEM's Conversation with HANI ILAIAN
of MIDEAST MARKET, where I buy local grown,
pasture fed lamb, and chicken at times.
One of the inspirations of December 10
was to begin a section of MIDEAST MARKET
having organic products and fresh locally grown
organic foods of CSA and Farmers' Market quality.
It would be named after Hani's son,
NEZAR ILLIAN.
I asked CHEF JEM to blog on another part of the story
His experience connecting with Hani over the phone.
I asked CHEF JEM if he would like to consult
with Hani and Nezar on this project.
His response to be was enlgihtening.
I will leave that to him to tell that story on his blog.
RE: The quality of grains and possible local sources
from GOLDMINE NATURAL FGODS.
This was inspired by a question Chef Jem asked me.
he wanted to verify the quality of the corn we are eating.
ENRICHING FRIENDSHIPS
I had an insight that came up from my conversation
with Chef Jem today.
In the Old Age, we were into making money off each other.
We were into profit making endeavors. Banks do this all the time.
It is actually outlawed in the Old Testament,
this idea of making a profit off of other people.
There is a name for that.
In the new age, we are into what I called in the
80's CONSCIOUS COMMERCE.
With each dollar we spend in the marketplace,
through our choices of where and how we spend
our dollars, we can uplift consciousness.
For Each dollar we spend, we can uplift humanity
at least $1.00 in energy. I know that is an
interesting way to look at things.
Since the 80's this idea has grown in popularity
to some extent. We know that through how we spend,
we can enrich particular businesses and people.
This is a principle that is also becoming popular in
agriculture. We are not realizing that true earth based
homeland security comes from supporting local, organic
farming. Of course, this is an ideal, Some people nit pick.
They say that supporting local over organic that travels from
a long distance is a good idea. The downside is: We need
to support local farmers into converting to organic.
We are entering the ENCHANTED GARDEN ERA.
This millenium can be 1000 years of peace when all
is said and done, minus a few opening wars or two.
I personally do not like to take money from strangers.
I do not eat food grown by people I do not know.
Whenever possible, I buy local and organic.
I will be happen on days I am not at the Farmers' Market,
to buy my grains from Necar Organic down at Mideast Foods.
Sharing money between friends?
Chef Jem said, when we do this we are "enriching our friendships."
