Value of My Writings + Moving Dream 10/11
Resolving to rescue important writings
and respect hoarding tendencies at the same time.

Dream last night,
very deep.
I was living with my father
on a large piece of land.
We were cleaning up,
getting ready to move out.
He left, thinking the job was done.
I stayed around.
There were still tons of things
that needed to be cleaned up when
I stopped to really look.
We were moving out.
I was looking at the land.
There was a lot of grief.
I woke up, and realized the dream had
something to do with holding on or leaving the
land where I live. This is a very important piece
of land to be held this way. There is so much nature
here. People need this very much. I need
this very much.
VALUE OF MY WRITINGS
I have been stressing over computer foundation
issues for days.
I set an intention to get into two large old computers
that have been hanging in my space for months.
I have been doing too fast to deal with it.
This was the week past that I looked.
At first I thought the old PERFORMA 6200 CD
would not be too difficult to get rid of.
I started to look deeper.
There were many very special writings.
The Converting of them to formats that I could
read on modern Macs was the main issue.
Some of this writing had been transfered
to newer TITANIAN G4's.
Both of them turned up defunct.
I started to attempt to retrieve the old writings
off the Performa, using zip drives.
This was odious and time consuming.
I made some progress.
I could not bring either of the G4's back to life.
They have much of this old Performa writing
from the late 90's and early 2000's.
I thought to get another Titanian, pre Intel chip model.
I looked at costs. I thought if I had an old operating system
9.1, I could save the old writings.
I went to PCOM that same day.
There was a G4 for sale at a reasonable price.
MATT was selling it. He came over yesterday.
It is in excellent shape. He sold it for $350.00.
It can open APPLEWORKS, and it has numbers of
advances in programs that I have wanted but
were too expensive to buy.
It even had a Leopard, but could still open
Appleworks 6.0.
I was able to transfer the new software to my external
drive. I sense I will be able to run in on my IMAC 20.
There is more computer work to be done.
The computer is the foundation of my work.
It appears I will have all new Tech within ten days.
There is another state of the art laptop coming
through a sponsor.
I have been gaining a lot through watching
the videos on A&E on Hoarding Tendencies.
I have them.
I want to get rid of the two non-working TItaniums
and the Performa, and an old PC. I have to be patient
with this process.
The writings they contain are valuable.
They represent pre-blog content that is high quality
and worthy of e-books at the least.
For years, I held the intention these writings would
go into books.
I want to retrieve the writings and bring them
into the new decade. A new decade. Wow!
Three months away. a New decade.
Few people take the time to so deeply explore
through writing. The writing represents deep
inner work intended to uplift.
It is worth being patient to get this work functional again.
I see that there will be an entire revolution in tech in
2010 with APPLE putting out THE TABLET.
I have been dreaming about this need, a larger
screen to read ebooks and such,but smaller than a laptop.
I experimented yesterday with learning
to upload and download a chapter
from PLANT YOUR DREAM BOOK ONE
using STANZA and BOX. This was approached
obsessively. I could see deep patterns
of frustratrion and perfection.
I could not bear to fail.
The cost was high in emotions.
