I was just on the phone with RICHARD HOLMES,
co-producer of LIVE H20, the highly successful
three day event that shifted the tide of our Oceans health.
What a delight to receive a call from Richard
this early morning, on a day I plan to star
blogging about LIVE H20!
Richard was manager of
THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND,
a very popular group that played
at the WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL in 1969.
LIVE H20 has been called a "HIGH TECH" WOODSTOCK.
Water flowed during the three day event here
in Long Beach, one of the site for this global event.

The Holmes Organization was founded in 1972 and has served over 275 companies and worked on more than 10,000 projects. In the fields of natural products, high-tech, biotech, financial-services and securities, laboratory instruments, transportation and alternative medicine.
The Holmes Organization has been deeply involved in the natural products industry since 1979. The firm is proud to have branded and packaged more than 1400 natural products including products for international markets.
Holmes was responsible for strategic planning, marketing and branding of Mrs. Gooch's (acknowledged to be the pioneer and premier natural foods chain) over seven years helping grow the company from two stores to nine in the Los Angeles market. A strong brand identity was built that created stature and awareness. This equity was created with advertising, direct mail, broadcast, as well as a signage and the development of a private label brand of more than 400 products. Mrs. Gooch's was later acquired by Whole Foods.
Brita water filters came to the Holmes Organization for development of a strategic plan to introduce and build the brand in the United States and Canada. Holmes duties involved strategic planning, marketing, advertising, package design/branding and product design. Holmes worked closely with management developing a licensing and distribution agreement for the United States with Clorox. Subsequently after several years of record sales Clorox acquired the company.
Holmes was an investor in Arrowhead Mills, a 30 year-old organic products company (founded by Frank Ford) which manufactures 270 grain based products. During his 7-year tenure, he was active in strategic planning, marketing, advertising, public relations, and branding of 127 products. Ready-to-eat cereals, soup mixes, bread mixes, dessert mixes, pancake and flour mixes and the like. During this period sales increased more than 300 percent.
The National Nutritional Foods Association commissioned the Holmes Organization to repositioned and brand the association. Through marketing, advertising and direct mail programs over a seven-year period, membership more than doubled.
The Holmes Organization partnered with Database Asia and Sinotrust developing international trade offices in Beijing China.
Holmes' interest and knowledge of alternative medicine were valuable assets in assisting Burton Goldberg, publishing and marketing his 1100 page book "Alternative Medicine The Definitive Guide."

THOSE EARLY YEARS
Richard Holmes early career involved "Surfing Film" making, and "4-wall" showings around the country notably on the East Coast where he is credited as one of those responsible for the sport's growth through the production of over 40 films.
Later he went on to produce concerts for the Doors, the Kinks, the Christy Minstrels, The Incredible String Band and Woodstock.

Ruben led the opening ceremony for LIVE H2O Long Beach
June 19 for the three day highly successful international
event that has been called a Woodstock for Water.
Ruben asked our prayers for rain for Hopiland
at a time when they were needing water for their plant
seedlings. There were more than fifty of us who participaed
in this two hour opening ceremony. At the end, numbers of
us took a bowl of combined blessed waters to the ocean
within about 100 yards away and gave her some.
Rain came the next day from Long Beach to parts of
San Diego, and northward. There was rain for six hours
as well in Hopiland. More than fifty of us sat in the opening
circle. There is much to say. Thank you for using your
gift of intentionality to help us all bring water.
Water from our Opening Ceremony were also
given to DR. MASURA EMOTO,
one of the keynote speakers at the Long Beach event.
Sunday at 5 PM, more than 1000 of us gathered
in prayer at the Long Beach event that was in sync
with other pray partners around the world.

We are 70% or more water.
We have lost the beat of life.
Many of us are out to beat the system.
It is for us to remember that Nature's Original Technology
is supreme on this earth.
The Earth responds to our intentions
I teach that the Earth and the Soul are Soilmates.
When we pray from this deep part of us
that is connected to the earth, rain can come.
We can cleanse the waters.
KEEP The BEET Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant,
is here to remind us that through growing
a single beet in a pot, we can re-establish our
connection with this lost beat of life.
Many of us on the earth today, treat
the oceans as a large toilet bowl.
A mere 5% of the plastics we use,
are recycled. An extraordinary part of what we
use ends up in the ocean. Many of us
are not conscious of what happens to the plastics
we use, or for that matter why the ocean is in
such a need for healing.
PETER FONDA reminded me last
December that 40% of our air supply
is made at sea is the result of single celled life called diatoms
that are suffocating.
A Moment of Awakening is needed now.
KEEP The BEET was inspired
to create a Moment of Awakening.
She began as an inspiration to help local
organic farmers pressed to grow food
under drought conditions and severe
imposed water restrictions here in
San Diego County.
LIve H20 was inspired by the challenge
to create a similar Moment of Awakening.

This means consciously being a part of
THE GREAT EARTH CLEANUP, and
through this, welcoming in
The ENCHANTED GARDEN ERA,
a time when we reveal the true nature
of our earth.

The centerpiece of the launch,
this past weekend was a CONCERT
for LIVING WATER that took place,
not just on one continent, but
in more than 13 places.
