Toxic Waste Dump All Over Our Oceans
Action is now being taken to reverse the trend
of turning our oceans into an enormous toxic plastic
waste dump.

This article on the State of the Ocean
has been deep in my thoughts the last few days.
It was sent my way by ANTHONY ZOLEZZI
who is partnering with other corporations
to create a moment of awakening that
reverses the trend to use our oceans as
garbage bins. Keep your eyes open
for new advances in Recycling being
launched this Earth Day.
I wrote about the Exxon Valdez a lot
in the 80's. The State of our oceans
is the equivalent of an enormous toxic spill.
This spillage of plastic is global, enormous,
dangerous to all life.
I was in conversation with PETER FONDA
a month ago. He was incredibly pre-occupied
with the state of the oceans. He is a supporter
of the new film FUEL. He was telling me about
all the oxygen producing micro life in the ocean
that is now suffering and under duress. Peter
was telling me that we get more oxygen from the
ocean that from the land.
I am not sure how much longer we can go on
fighting wars. We have too many critical issues
right in front of our faces. We can't be distracted
any longer. There is too much to do if we want
to keep breathing.
