Going Deep into a Dream
It is early morning. I just awoke from a dream so deep that it made me want
to clear an entire shelf of papers and put KEEP the BEET Media Star right there
each night for companionship. Here is my dream. Here is a telling of
the the Cry of a local, organic farmers, and why I am doing what I am doing now.

I am a Ceremonialist by nature.
A Ceremonialist is someone who carries
dreams and walks through dreams.
A Ceremonialist is someone who brings dreams
down to Earth.
I just awoke from a morning dream.
It was so deep, that in the context of everything
I have been writing about,
everything I have been seeing in the last week,
I do not know where to start to convey what I would like to say here.
Most of us have lost a sense of the Sacred.
Most of what we see and touch and hear is tin
to what the thing we see and do is intended to be,
or can be if the essential that born it were fully seen,
I am speaking of invisible things
I am speaking now of Seed Dreams
of Essences, of things a Ceremonialist who
do and say with a Sacred Space,
a Sacred Space of an Earth Dome.
In my deep dream I was having, I was with a man who worked in two places.
I followed him to both,
The dream ended with the a Testing
The Man in two places revealed himself.
He dealt with Produce.
He took me home to where he lived with his wife.
He asked me to speak about a beet.
He was calliing forth something deep,
something not of this world.
He was asking me to pierce to the essence of beet,
He wanted to know the Qualities inherent in a beet.
I started to delineate "beet."
I started to speak about the nature of beet.
I addressed the nature of purple, its color.
I spoke about balance. I spoke about the
essential qualities of beet that we do not know,
the essential qualities that go with every living thng
that we can take in when the form of it, the beet
still remains a beet, and what we take in through
the mouth, and digest becomes us,
and helps us remember our wholeness.

I light a candle.
I ask myself now,
what does this Dream
I just had less that 20 minutes ago
have to do with anything?????
A.
MOMENT OF AWAKENING.
Joe the Farmer turned to me at the Farmers; Market.
He is a positive man. He is a man who grows beets.
Beets of therapeutic quality, Beets that can piece
a person together,
Joe on that day was harboring a deep suffering.
The problems before him and the Rodriguez Family have
been endless, endless for years.
Shoppers simply did not know.
Lots of the food that he grew went to waste,
Not enough shoppers came
The City of San Diego, the County of San DIego,
Our State, really doesn't value local, organic farmers.
That is the truth.
We are in a water crisis, that is true,
There solution was to ask our local farmers
to stop using 30% of the water that they used the year before,
Farmers who were using less water, and already cutting back
to conserve, were being penalized the worst.
One farmer, had a field he was allowing to go fallow,
to replenish itself. He had turned off the water.
Then the Mandate came. He wanted to grow food again
in that field. He was told that he would have to use
30 % less water in that field that the meter showed
the year before. The meter showed "0" the year before.
His water allotment now for that field?
"0" minus 30%,
Do you get what I am saying?
Can you hear me?
Do you have any sense of what I am saying
and the kind of pain someone like
my friend Joe the Farmer and Barry,
the one with the "0" minus 30 have to deal with?
These are the Farmers with a Capitol 'F"
These are the farmers who need
us all to Have A Moment of Awakening.

Joe was very frustated that day,
He is a Catholic man who knows how to pray.
He turned to me, his friend, and
said "We need A Moment of Awakening,"
It was then I had another Dream.
A beet spoke to me,
I took one of Joe the Farmers' beets
and planted it in a pot.
I knew that to create the Moment of Awakening
that was being asked, something very simple
was needed.
What would it take to create such a Moment of Awakening?
That was how when KEEP the BEET Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant was born.
She is hear to create a Moment of Awakening,
and I have been carrying here around for more than
a year.
Now is the Time for you reading this Plant Your Dream Blog
