My reasons for doing this fast

I'm reaching a turning point in my life - my last semester of college and, most notably, a real point of progress in recovery from several eating disorders. I know it may seem strange for an eating-disordered person to attempt a liquid fast, but I actually believe it could be quite helpful in enabling me to break my obsession with food. I hope to reach a point where it doesn't hold such power over my thoughts, and come to realize the important things in my life that have been obscured by thoughts about weight and food. Plus, I would love to feel that sense of purity and cleanliness that comes with liquid fasting. I could use any support or suggestions you have along the way, especially when my willpower is waning! I suppose that's my first question for you guys - how do you maintain willpower to stick with it, especially when hunger comes into the picture?
