Detox Stages: This link goes to a description of typical stages of detoxing. It describes the body's activities and toxin symptoms at each approximate stage of a detoxing fast. It applies to juice fasting, but even more so to the more strict forms of fasting, such as the Master Cleanse or water fasting.

It helps to be able to look at this while fasting. Sometimes detoxing methods can be altered to aid in toxin removal, particularly at the most difficult points of a longer fast.
