Today is my first day of my Master Cleanse. I'm feeling very good for my first day. On Sunday, I felt my glands in my neck were swollen and that there was a possibility that I was catching a nasty cold that my son had recently but I called the Elder and he anointed me with oil and prayed for me and our faith and the power of God made me whole.
I got hunger pangs a couple of times today but nothing that I couldn't handle.with the strength of the Lord, of course. I talked with my Auntee today too and she is doing it with me as well. She said that she has quite a few bumps on her tongue that are tender to the touch which causes some pain. I know that one of the main places that toxins come out during the cleanse is through the tongue so for her this must be a normal since it's different for everybody. She also mentioned that her joints are more sore than usual which I know even happened to me and may happen during the first 2-4 days of the cleanse.
I'm happy that I started and I am encouraged to go on in Jesus name and do this. I am really studying the word and I am looking for the Lord to speak to me in deep ways during my fasting from food. I'm excited, because I know that I'm going to get out of this so much more than I can imagine.
Nite~zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

First off, We have a black President and he is for all the People of OUR United States of America.Go OBAMA!!!
Today is the second day of my 27 Day Fast on the Master Cleanse Body Detox and I'm feeling really good. I am noticing that this time I don't have so much white stuff on my tongue. I haven't gotten a headache or anything from Carb or Sugar withdrawals and I already notice an increase in energy. I guess this time around is not going to be like anything I've experienced previously even though I've only done it one other time.In March of 08'.
I actually have lemonade left over because apparently I didn't feel the need to drink all of it because I wasn't hungry, Yay! O, and I lost 4lbs from yesterday, weighing in at 247.6.

10:29 a.m. - Well, I'm just getting my day started because I was on the phone all the morning with my Auntee. She is still doing the cleanse (Thank you Jesus) however, she has been wanting to eat because she is a T.V. watcher. Of course, you know all the food commercials that she has to endure so I told her she should try to do some other things with her time like straighten out drawers and cabinets. I figure a little organization should get her mind off all the fast food and restaurant commercials. She did seem more encouraged as we exited our call and I did let her know how much she is helping me by doing the cleanse along with me.
As for myself, I must admit that I have caught myself daydreaming quickly about a few food items here and there and just as quickly, I bring it under submission and it flees. Of course it will come back but I just need to stand on the Word and there shouldn't be any mishaps unless I want it to be. "Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed." James 1:14.One of my favorite scriptures explaining to the Christian how we get caught up in our sin. I found when I did it with my husband and daughter the first time back in March, all they wanted to do is look and talk about the food we were going to eat after getting off. That was not a help to me at all the first go-around. I'm trying my best to concentrate on my relationship with God and learning and getting an understanding of His will for me during this time of Fasting.
Last night, I got really frustrated and lashed out at my husband. I have been unusually calm since starting this so I knew why I had reacted that way which is still not an excuse. I did apologize to him and explained to him why I believe I fussed him out and he said he understood and that it was okay. I'm glad he was understanding but then again, he always is.
Getting ready to have my morning cup of "Smooth Move," tea so I'm outta here for now.
6:59 p.m. - Well, another day that is full of success. I'm finishing up my lemonade for the day and getting ready to make me some tea. This tea is sort of irritating tho. The cramps are terrible and the many poops a day are cumbersome but it's all apart of the process, right.
