Day 1: 1st juice fast!
the summary of the 1st day of my juice fast. went so far so good. one pound lost.
Date: 9/23/2008 2:06:28 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2932 times so yesterday I started on my journey on my baby sized 5 day juice fast. I felt like I could have said that I was going on a ten or 15 day fast and then failed on day 5 and felt disappointed in myself. . or I could just set a realistic goal and hopefully succeed.
I ate my last meal on sunday night and woke up monday morning both nervous and excited. I drank 3 juices, one for each meal, and drank MC lemonade in between. my juices were mainly vegetables and not so bad if I do say so myself. especially because I was winging most of the recipes. I went out to dinner for my friends birthday which was difficult, but I found that after I told all of them what I was doing, they wouldn't have let me eat anything anyways so the support was great. . and also the butt of a lot of jokes, haha.
I found that already I was thinking about the fast all the time, and that gets pretty annoying after a while. I drank a small cup of organic chicken broth before bed. I know its probably not part of the rules, but it helped immensely with the mental cravings, and I made sure it was organic. I think that by having the broth it makes it much easier and therefore much more likely to stick with it.
I went to bed feeling hungary but not really tired. its like I always have this antsy feeling. anyways hopefully I make it to day to
starting weight: 164.5
mornign of day 2 : 163.5
one pound lost whooo hoooo!!!
