President Palin at the Helm? Some thoughts to share about good parenting
and its impact on a healthy economy

On the way up to the Whole Being Weekend
a couple weekends ago, I stopped at a Rite Aid
for New Batteries.
I read the copy of People Magazine at the checkout.
It was a very positive article on Sarah Palin
that showed among many things
how courageous she was doing double duty as
a Mom as well as the Governor. There was a quote
from John McCain. He was pointing out how courageous she
was doing so much with her life. It mentioned as well
that one of her daughters was pregnant.
I can see where being a Governor and being a mom
does take a lot of attention.
There was one photo of her on the phone
doing Government Business while her little child
with Down Syndrome was in her lap.
Good Shot. Good PR. It make me think.
At least she was with her child, but I am not sure
in our near Bankrupt Economy if that is the kind of
Mothering that serves best the Future of our Number #1
American Asset....Healthy Children given good Parenting.
I have been listening to NPR a lot in the last week.
One report was about a workshop where Gov leaders were
exploring what Assets to iniest in.
They were looking at investing in LIttle Children's Care.
Why? Because this is a good investment for Sound Economic Growth.
From what I understand Sarah does not believe in Birth Control,
or does she? i just don't really know.
Has anyone asked? Has anyone been allowed to ask her
the questions that would be good to know?
How many more kids does she plan to have?
Is it true that her husband Todd, basically serves as
her de facto Chief of Staff?
I understand he is a fisherman and an oil person.
Is that true? Have I got that right?
How about the issue pf her mixing up
who was first on the ticket last week.
She referred to it as the Palin-McCain Ticket
rather tan the McCain -Palin ticket.
I saw that on a Video.
Does she know something we do not know?
Is she aware that John Mccain is not in the best of health?
What is the report on his health?
Are his Cancers active?
What is the likelihood that this 72-year-old man
will have to step down, or at least step aside?
I am 60. One thing I share with Sarah Palin's kids
is that for the most part, my dad, also a Religious Person,
was absent for most of my early Childhood.
I would have preferred he were home more.
I would have preferred he paid closer attention to me
while I was growing up.
His lack of presence definitely influenced my self-esteem
and sense of self. Those qualities have a lot ot do with good
parenting, and ultimately, a Healthy Economy.
