Day one of...
Starting a juice fast

I'm attempting a juice fast. This is not the first time I've done a juice fast. I've done three- and five-day fasts before. This time, however, I'm aiming high and doing a thirty-day fast. I should say, I'm going to attempt to do a thirty day fast. I've decided to set small, achievable goals. First three days...then a week. Then ten days. After that, we will see...
I'm doing this for two reasons. The first is the obvious reason many people chose to fast: to loose weight. Right now, I'm a curvy 181 pounds, and am about 5'11". While this is not unhealthy, I wouldn't mind losing about fifteen pounds on this fast (a reasonable expectation, I think).
The other reason is, I have the digestive system from h***. I have struggled with poor digestion and constipation for going on two years now, and am hoping a thorough cleanse will help. Actually, if I had to choose between the two results, the second is more important for me right now.
We shall see. I'm also going to work on getting green juices into my diet. I have no problem with fruit juices, but vegetable juices aren't my favorite. If you have any suggestions, please pass them along.
