Organic Tobacco
Looking for an organic tobacco for ceremonial use, I came across Try American Spirit Tobacco.

you have to give your age to verify you are over 21, and click whether or not you are a smoker. I'm a non-smoker, so I clicked that and got a message telling me not to start smoking! I couldn't get beyond that into the website, so I started over again and clicked on "smoker". I was looking for an organic, loose-leaf tobacco (the website calls this "roll your own") to give as offerings to Mother Earth during ceremony, and found the webpage I was looking for here:

There is an interesting video shown on this page from the organic tobacco farmer's perspective.
I've never bought cigarettes in my life, and am very aware of the devastating effects of cigarette smoking worldwide on humans and the environment (see blog "Toxic Tobacco":

so felt kinda nervous even looking at the website. From what I can see, this company looks pretty reputable as far as being in keeping with good environmental practices, at least in the production of their organic tobacco.
They even use wind power in their Santa Fe facility

What is good about this site is they make a point of telling you smoking is bad for your health and that they don't encourage people to smoke more or for non-smokers to start smoking. They won't sell products over the Internet to ensure they are not selling to minors; you can locate stores in your area that sell their product instead. AND, they have a link to help people who want to quit smoking!

I certainly am NOT encouraging anyone to smoke or to start smoking, but if you're looking for a good-quality organic tobacco for ceremonial purposes, this website is worth checking out.
