Stage one of new microbial epidemic, penetrating CSF

There is something clearly wrong out there, I see it every day, everywhere. Most people don't know there's anything wrong, but maybe they exhibit a symptom or two in the course of a casual exchange. Or it might be written all over every aspect of their appearance.

Most commonly I'll see someone bent over in pain from the back or the neck. Disks are most commonly implicated, it may even be a disk that was already weak or previoulsy injured that capitulates- bear in mind that back and neck pain are not fully understood, often an MRI will show herniated disks where there is no pain present as well as perfect disk integrity where pain is unbearable. This is usually stage one, something penetrating the CSF.
