Spiritual Rituals & Practices
I have been working with a shamanic healer for almost 18 months now. She has assigned spiritual exercises and rituals to do on a daily basis. Sometimes I get enthusiastic and do them daily for a stretch of time, then I get lazy and "skip" for a while. Yesterday, I had spent most of the morning in ritual, was getting ready to meditate, when I felt a compulsion to write as "something" was wanting to "come through" me. Here is what issued forth:

Q: Spirit, What am I to Know this Day?
A: Know that you are loved, dear one.
You work so hard at it, as if connection to Us is a job...just relax into us--we are all around you and hold you all the time, even when/though you are not aware of our presence. We would/will love you no less should you not do all of these rituals...they are not necessary for you to connect to Us, but they ARE necessary to remind you that you are already connected--yes, without them, you go about your life in a state of forgetfulness, amnesia, as the Prechtel calls it...praise be to he! So the rituals and exercises (your shamanic practitioner) has you do remind you of the connectedness you already have; they in and of themselves do not create connections. It is good also for your mind, as the rituals help quell the constant chatter of your mind, and the doubt/shame/fear that plague you. They are a "time out" for your mind and your forgetfulness, an exercise in being aware of the connectedness you already have!
We enjoy watching you do them---as long as the meaning and intention behind the rituals are clear, there is no harm in doing them...if they get to the point of being meaningless gestures (which at this time they are not) then it would be best to not do them anymore. As long as they hold meaning for YOU. Remember, you are your own "guru" and only YOU know best when to stop doing them.
When you are "blocked" to Spirit in some way, this is a blockage created by the mind...there is no "conduit" to Spirit that gets "blocked" and needs to be "unplugged" as if your connection to us is "spiritual plumbing"...your mind creates the "blockage" and rituals help you "unplug" the blockage created by your mind so that you become aware of the intrinsic connection that is already there! This is why the Kryon and everyone else speaks of "enlightenment" as remembering who you are; becoming "awake and aware" of the profound connection to Spirit that nurtures and sustains you every day! That is why the actual ritual does not matter in terms of what form it takes...indeed, ritual varies from culture to culture, individual to individual...it is the intention behind the ritual that is important---the intention to re-member the profound connection that already exists between you (humans) and Spirit, between each other as human-Spirit-Beings, and the deepest connection to Spirit within yourselves. Remember Who YOU ARE!
