Colin Leath stopped by to say hello.
He is spending time these days sowing.
He made a bomber hat. It tooks like a leather
hat that fighter pilots wore. It is made to be light.
Now he is making a sleeping quilt and a tarp.
He says look
at

for the directions on how to make one yourself.
The Pacific Crest Trail begins in the south near Campo.
It goes from Mexico to Canada.
There is a whole culture of people walking the trail.
You learn about it once you get out there.
There was an article in the LA Times a few weeks ago
about a man who endlessly walks. Sounds like Forrest Gump.
He is happiest when he is out htere.
Colin uses a cell phone....
