"IRS" Fraud Email Thought I'd alert folks about a national problem in the U.S.--fraudulent emails supposedly from the IRS stating you have a refund...if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!! I just got an email supposedly from the IRS saying I had a refund due me, please click on link below for a form to fill out, etc. Since when does the IRS notify you by email??? THIS IS FRAUDULENT! DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK AS YOU MAY GET A NASTY VIRUS ENTERED INTO YOUR COMPUTER! I checked out the IRS website and they state clearly and emphatically they do NOT use email to notify anyone of anything, refund or other.
