If you haven't met Bill Tall at the City Farmers Nursery
off Euclid street, you are in for a treat. This is a real gentleman
of the garden, a joy to know!
City Farmers Nursery was a Seed Dream he started in 1972.
I like entering from the North to the South.
The route off Euclid takes us through down past
El Cajon Blvd, past University. Continue South
for a mile or so. City Farmers Nursery is on the
right. Nate's Cafe is on the same property,
as well as a new flower shop
At some point, Euclid turns to Home Avenue.
4832 Home Avenue is the address as listed
on the poster for the event that can be viewd
on this Plant Your Dream Blog:
http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=1168325
There is also a Freeway entrance to the South.
The route takes us past a lot of concrete and
houses, numbers that do not feel loved.
Then we come to this little Oasis, City Farmers Nursery.
City Farmers is a proclamation of what is possible
when we have dreams and our dreams are tied in with
the technology of growing plants.
This is a Jewel of a place.
Art in the Garden May 24th is a perfect time to visit!
I will be there.
