Hi Leslie,
I had a peaceful as well as inspiring time while sharing with you some of our dreams at your Enchanted Garden. We also found out that we had much in common, My Kibbutz farming experience with your Enchanted Garden, my Judeo/Cabbala/Kundalini/ spiritual experiences and your inspirational connections with the body/spirit and soil (Body and soil), so evident in your writings and website. I also shared with you some suggestions in how one could improve in attracting and guiding others to your Enchanted Garden. You understood that I also had a business development background and so you suggested that we meet again with your colleagues and soul mates and asked me to write some of those thoughts I shared with you on this matter during our last conversation.
My first and immediate thought and suggestion was that, since you were located at the doorstep of the State University, Enchanted Garden could be a non profit NGO that offers supporting programs to the department of Agriculture/Horticulture, Philosophy/Meditation, Environmental Science, etc.
Such programs would provide guidance and the land to those interested students who would volunteer their time (perhaps as an extra activity culminating with a grade/credit) to cultivate their mind while cultivating the Enchanted Garden. Once the Garden is rejuvenated (cleared, outlined, and rejuvenated with colorful year around flowers, lights, etc, and perhaps the house is made ready for class meditations?) Enchanted-Gardens.org could then expand its programs to others outside of the University. Invite speakers and spiritual teachers to guides the students to their mind /body/soil unifying spirit embedded in this rejuvenated enchanting Garden.
Fees and or donations will help support the Garden and its operation. In order to bring about this vision to reality, one would need volunteers and professionals to run the Enchanted Garden.
Suggestions:
Land Manager: Responsible for clearing, outlining, and rejuvenated with colorful year around flowers the land, and for teaching and supporting the students and others in all land gardening activities, etc
Project development/marketing/Admin/ Manager;
Communication/Inspirational/teacher
Let me know when you want us to get together with everyone interested
Shabbat Shalom,
Albert Nahmani
