Starting a new fast

So here goes....may God bless the efforts of this fast....onto day one!

And hoping this one will actually get off the ground. Thats the thing about fasting it is seriously easier said than done. But it has been done before so it is possible. For me it is the initial 3-4 days, then, once I make it past day 8 I know I can do it. That coupled with the strength I MUST pull from my spirituality.

So I know that I need to do this. Now will NEVER be a good time. There's always going to be this or that to deal with but I have to try. If I don't try I'll never have a chance at changing the things that I want different in my life.

I can't say that this time I have a list of goals that I want to achieve for this fast. The one thing I hope to gain is just a renewed interest in my self and in life. A new energy and appreciation for life. An excitement, curiosity and interest in life and people that has grown stale within a routine that I have created for myself.

So here goes....may God bless the efforts of this fast....onto day one!
