Hawaiian Healing Garden
Lots of good things happened at the Natural Product Expo
for me and friends I met.
One of the highlights was connecting up with
Katie Fisher, who does the Hawaii Healing Garden Festival.
I met Katie Fisher for the first time last year
on the opening night. I was with Joe Rodriguez Jr.
We were at the OTA.
We were enjoying the high of bringing up locally grown organic strawberries.
Then we did a Closing Ceremony together at the Conscious Goods Alliance Bus
that runs on Veggie Oil.
I met Jerry Black of Maca Magic through Katie.
We took some pictures.
Jerry encouraged me to stop at his booth.
I got there the final day.
I met a number of his staff. We had fun taking photos.
I am going to put up some of the photos here.
Jerry is an Archetype of something I saw going on at this year's
Natural Product Expo West.
Numbers of Entrepeneurs are helping to save indigenous cultures
through encouraging the local people to make industries out of growing
specific herbs as specialty crops.
Maca is one of these.
I have not started to get attuned to the healing properties
of Maca. I will.
Here is a message from Jerry Black on his website.

His company is called Amazon Therapeutic Laboratories.
Katie does some wonderful Botanically oriented festivals on Hawaii.
The first is June 21,08 on the big Island.
Jerry Black is going to be one of her sponsors.
I have never made a trip to Hawaii.
Katie is talking about having the Sunflower Image that I brought
to the Natural Product Expo West there.
My of my goals is to see this image hanging in places of healing.
It is already in the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine sponsored
by three of my favorite companies.
I would like to see the image in hospitals.
Katie is going to pursue getting it in a hospital in Hawaii.
She can see it in a maternity room.
The sunflower image definitely had healing properties.
Here is one link to the Hawaii Healing Garden that Katie did last year.
An updated link is in the works.
