I begin writing about it here in this
his Centennial Birth Day Year.

Keeping the Dream Alive?
What does that mean?
If Dr. Bernard Jensen were alive this very moment
and he was at his best--he would be a headliner
at the Health Freedom Expo that is happening right
now up the road about 120 miles at the Long Beach
Convention Center.
Dr. Bernard Jensen did not make up the Dream.
He was a major contributor to Keeping the Dream Alive!
I first met this man
when I had no dream.
My guts were starting to bleed from aspirin.
That was all I knew to make the pain of arthritis go away.
Dr. Bernard Jensen had problems too
when he was a Kid
just like you and I have problems
with health.
As a youth, he surrounded himself with old teachers
who also knew the Dream.
What is the Dream?
What is the meaning of
Keeping the Dream Alive?
Many of you reading these words
may have lost the dream too.
That is why you are here.
You may be discouraged.
You may feel lost at times.
You are looking for the Dream,
the dream of better health.
There is a whole generation of kids today
who imagine that the Dream
has something to do with Computer Viruses
and the best ways to get rid of them.
There are more Kids today who are becoming
IT's than Farmers. There are more IT's on the
rise that gardeners. All this is changing.
It has too because there is a Dream,
and because the Dream asks us
to be part of nature and this earth.
Some of us today, imagine that the Technology
of "Man" with the Small "M"
is inventing a Better Way to Communicate,
a better way to be healthy with Manipulations
of genes We imagine that the answer is in
Supplements to health. Many of us are into
supplementing without knowing what the
Real thing is. The real thing is a Lifestyle.
Dr. Jensen knew what that Lifestyle was,
the Lifestyle that breeds health.
I want to tell you about the Dream that Dr. Bernard Jensen knew.
the dream that he learned from the old men.
It is the dream that he passed along to me,
and that I am passing along to you.
I knew this man.
I knew him right out of my College days.
My first job when I could see my System
did not fit into the System--without cutting off
my round edges--was with Bernard Jensen.
He grapped me up.
At times when I was crippled,
He carried me.
I carried him too.
I carried his spirit when it was down.
I led him to the garden
a place that he preached about;
Like many of us, Jensen preached about the garden
more than he took his shoes off
and walked in it.
There were numbers of times,
we walked in the garden together.
There were numbers of times,
I took his picture there.
Some of those pictures
are now famous.
There is a part of me that wants
to print up a few things
and head up to the Health Freedom Expo.
I am sitting too much at this computer.
Dr. Jensen advises me now
to get off it.
