"The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together."
-Erma Bombeck, 1987
There is truth that we create our life, and our diseases. But we must also exercise compassion for the creator of disease well as the great writer, humorsit in us all.
We cannot separate the aspects without destroying the balance of the creator
The heart must be big enough to hold all aspects
and have compassion for all aspects
accept and allow all feelings
I'll drink to that
