Day 4 (Evening)
An evening checkin.
Date: 2/4/2008 7:37:14 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1451 times Today proved easier than I thought it would be. Work kept me occupied, and being forced to pair everything down in my brain to "what do I do next" actually helped me destress. There is only so much room in my mind for multiple thoughts, and surprisingly, that proved to be a good thing!
Being over "the hump" and seeing an end in site gave me a lot of will power today. Hubby and the kids had McDonald's for dinner. I sat with them, and was very tempted, especially by the left over french fries and chicken nuggets that went to waste. But I did not cave. My husband is feeling a little more protective. He kept suggesting I atleast have a salad. I think he is beginning to feel that I am going too long. But I told him I was shooting for just 5 days, and I couldn't quit now. So I didn't.
I am hoping that tomorrow will bring additional weight loss, and that by Wednesday, I will have a fabulous weigh in result to report.
Already, in addition to the weigh loss previously reported, I can see a major difference in the firmness of my stomach, and even in my face. I am truly thrilled.
Anyhow, I do have a lot of energy today, so I do think I will get in a three mile walk after my daughters head to bed. I didnt get to yesterday, but know I need it if I am to truly reap the benefits of fasting for weight loss.
