Mother's Milk to be outlawed
in California? Here is an idea
that came into my head as I was
shopping at Whole Foods Market today.

Had some Religious Epiphanies
while shopping in Whole Foods Market Hillcrest
this afternoon.
I went for some
of Traditional Medicinals
Organic Giner tea,
one of my favorites.
I like this company very much.
The owner was old friends with Kent Taylor.
Kent was my primary Baby Herb Sponsor in the
80's. The Taylor's Herb Garden was a place
where the Who's Who in herbs would show up.
Once we did an event at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
I taught a Class in the Elephant Arena called
"Worms and Others Wild Things" if I am not mistaken.
Warren Stagg, of Traditional Medicinals was also on the program.
He was an old friend of Kent.
As I have watching the Raw Milk Controversy
on the Plant Your Dream Blog with the help of
Chef Jem. Chef Jem makes regular reports.
I notice today that
Traditional Medicinals had a tea called
ORGANIC MOTHER's MILK.
It promotes lactation in breast Feeding Mothers.
My Mind had an explosion.
I can see the Headlines now:
The CA Ag Department,
and CA Dairy Industry, gloating
over their success at preventing Health Conscious
consumers from inbibing in Raw Milk,
have come up with a new Law Bill
that will Outlaw Mothers from Breast Feeding.
Mother's Milk, according to leading Scientists
who work for the CA daily Industry, report
that their may be too much coliform bacteria
in Mother's Milk.
The Dairy Council is also pressing the argument
that continued use of Mother's Milk for infants
is in competition with the Pasteurized Milk Cow Industry.
Mothers have an unfair advantage.
Cow Milk sales are being adversely effected
by mothers who insist on this practice of
breast feeding that no longer fits in our day and age.

TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE:
From National Geographic Magazine Article
1983:
The Taylor Herb Garden was once shown
in National Georgraphic. The garden went
out of business in the late 80's or early 90's.
Where do all the herbs come from to meet this surging demand?
The answer lies in countless gardens, from apartment window
boxes and backyard experiments to the huge commercial enterprises that supply world markets.
"We sold more than a million plants last year,"
said Kent Taylor when I visited his farm-and-factory operation
in Vista, California. "We ship wholesale orders,
up to 50,000 plants each, in multiple sets of boxes."
